I just had a horrible experience at a BP gas station (7544 Lyndale Avenue South) at 6:15pm on July 11.
This happens to be one of the BP locations that accepts Rainbow Grocery's Roundy's Fuelperks discounts. So I swiped that card, then chose to pay at the pump and swiped my ATM card, and pressed the Regular gas button instead of Premium or Ultimate.
When it was finished pumping I saw that (.30 a gallon) had been applied to my gas purchase, but I was charged a higher rate than the $2.659 base price of Regular gas, so I went inside to see if I could get a refund. The attendandt/owner pointed out that the gas I had been charged for had indeed been .30 off per gallon but it was listed as "GOLD" so he said I had not pressed the Regular button. I insisted that I had (I KNOW I did not hit the other button and would not lie about something like this.) I demanded that I get a refund or that something be done. Not only was the owner rude but he treated me like a lying idiot, threatened to call the police, and told me to never come back when I pointed out the error. I was not beligerent or using any foul language. I simply demanding that something be done or at the very least that he take a look at the pump so that this wouldn't happen to anyone else.
At this point I don't expect a measly $4.04 refund, but I couldn't believe that a business owner could be so rude and horrible.
