BP OIL SPILL & Offshore Drilling
BP should ST0P its TV and print advertising and pay that $$$ to the victims and states. more importantly EXcESS equipment and staff at ground zero to save the marshes. It has been 66 days and there are too many missed oppty and policy bottlenecks and inactivity BEFORE it got to this stage. The only way BP's image will improve is if they bar no cost to fix this, stop this. There is NO way that this habitat, environment, way of life, jobs, homes will be RIGHT for decades, if at all. I predict that BP will go bankrupt before they can make restitution to the Gulf Residents. It is deplorable. Stop the politicking and just DO IT. You've wasted too much time. I also vote to suspend offshore drilling permanently. Firms (and their greed, shortsightedness) and the govt oversight CANNOT BE trusted. No one has talked about the Utter wASTE of this precious resource and the price impact at the pump for generations to come.

Its very unpatriotic of them
Enough already with blaming Obama for this BP disaster. This was a man made disaster propagated by a foreign company in international waters.

The government has done about all it can to fix a problem that is huge in scope while the company trusted to be responsible is winning the pr game. This disaster will ruin fishing in the area for years.

The joke is that the conservatives are both blaiming Obama while at the same time continuing to pusg for offshore oil drilling and against developing clean energy.

Its very unpatriotic of them.

Pricing
The last three times i have gone by BP gas station in Paw Paw, MI and have noticed that the gas price has been .10 cents cheaper than the other gas stations according to the signs. Once you get to the pump it is .10 cents more than what the sign says. i have gone mostly in late afternoon so the prices have already been changed...

Unhelpfullness
Hi,
Last night Reading came to a standstill. I had accidentally forgot my purse before I left for work that morning. I didnt realise this until I had put £20 of fuel in my car.

I was stranded with my 3 year old little girl stuck in traffic for 3 hours on a journey that would normally take 15 minutes. I explained to the person working that I had forgot my purse but I can either leave my tax disk or/and details as I will return today to pay. The person working demanded my mobile phone - which I said I am unable to do as I keep getting stuck in the snow and with a child I am not able to leave my phone. He was adamant I either leave my mobile or he would report me to the police for driving off. I offered some designer glasses that cost over £300 but no, he wanted my mobile or he would report me to the police. some other customers where getting frustrated as there were hundreds of us stuck and as they rightly pointed out I had a child. Eventually after some minutes a very nice man said he would pay - which i let him as I didnt want to get reported for a crime that i was trying to avoid.

I cannot beleive that people are not able to use a bit of common decency when there is a crisis and they can take advantage of the less advantaged.

Rude Gas Tenant
I had a flat tire coming home one night on Moreland Avenue so I turned into the BP located at the following address: 350 Moreland Ave Euclid Ave Atlanta, Georgia 30307. I pulled to the right hand side, got out of the car, and added my money to the machine; only to find out that the machine did not work. I was worried because it was not a completely safe area and my kids were in the car. I saw that there was another machine on the other side of the lot but I was out of cash so I ran inside to see if I could get my money back from the cashier. I informed the man behind the counter that I needed my change returned because the BP air machine took my money and I need to fill up my tire. He rudely refused to return my money. I told him my situation and he stated that he didn’t care. I stated that I would file a complaint and he said, “you can’t do anything to me while laughing.” I returned to my car and was thankful that someone saw me in distress and gave me their automatic air pump to use to fill up my tire. I have be a costumer of British Petroleum for many years and I will not be using this company in the future. I will inform others of my situation.

gas gift cards
BEWARE BUYING GAS GIFT CARDS!!! We were told the cards were previously activated. After checking the card numbers on-line, of course, the balance was zero and not only that, one was a 'used' card. Gift cards are ALWAYS activated at the point of sale! We finally got our money back but it was time and effort and after registering a station complaint we still have not heard from the owner. I'm not sure if the attendant is running a scam or the station owner is behind this scheme, but my advice is don't buy gift cards at this station!

DIESEL
As a dedicated Tesco diesel customer and being in the wilds of Scotland yesterday I had to fill up at a BP outlet. Inadvertently I filled up with BP's 'ULTIMATE' grade at 10p over the regular price! That was bad enough, but on filling up at the end of my return journey I was horrified to find that I had achieved 4.5 miles per gallon less than on my outward journey! Just wondered if anybody had any similar experiences or is this the stuff 'ULTIMATE' rip-off!!! Sorry!

error at fill up
I have an Accra RSX 2003 when the gas light come on I have about 2 gallons left. I pulled into the BP station and filled up the tank. It is impossible to fill up the tank with more than 13 gallons due to the fact my tank holds only 13 gallons. On this day I pumped 13.338 gallons, the most my tank would have taken when the gas light comes on is about 11 gallons. This gas station is ripping people off. I don't know who else to contact but at least I will never go back to this station. Everyone should avoid going there.
