Kicks butt!!
I have been a customer at Brake Masters for years. I really love the service I get when I go there. The one I go to is in Tempe Arizona. I only talk to one guy there. His name is Cody. He is an amazing and incredibly honest employee. Whenever there is something more than just an oil change that needs to be done with my car he will tell me honestly, tell me when I should have it fixed and what it would cost me. He never tries to get me to buy that repair right then if it isn't warranted. He ALWAYS gives me options. He is so knowledgeable that I trust him and only speak to him when I go in. Especially considering that the other manager is not as friendly and definitely pushy.
I am not sure what the mechanic's name is that actually does the work on my car, but he is a quite shorter guy. Looks like he may be Asian. He does an amazing job and I have never had any complaints. He gets my car in and out in remarkable time.
Thank you Cody and Brake Masters!!!

Rip off
Went to Brake Masters for an oil change. The manager asked me if I would like a Tire Rotation and I said sure why not? They rotated my tires and changed the oil. When I went back 3 months later for another oil change they wanted to check my brakes, but couldn't get the rims off, they needed the key for the lug nuts. I told them that the key should be there. I don't mess with anything on my car and that they were the first and last people to rotate my tires. The Manager(a new one), looked up my record and it didn't state that they had rotated the tires, and there was nothing that he was going to do and that I could go to Discount to buy new ones. I contacted their corporate headquarters and all they said was that if I went and bought new lugs that they could install them. I wouldn't need new lugs if they hadn't lost or stolen my lug key! I asked the manager to see if they had one in their shop. He NEVER got back to me. Do not use Break Masters, they have NO customer service and are thieves!

Terrible company
I dropped my car off at Brake Masters at Oracle and Ina in Tucson Arizona to have my front brakes checked. My parents have done business with them for years, I have spent at least $600 with them and my friend does business with this very location of Brake Masters. I wrongly assumed that they were reliable and trustworthy.
They quoted me $560+ in repairs for my front brakes. I couldn't believe it. I wrote down a full page of details of things they said were wrong with my brakes. I could barely explain all the confusing things they said to my friend who is a truck driver. He assured me they were crooks and took my car to a local repair shop.
The honest mechanics repaired my front brakes with top of the line stuff for a total of $148 dollars and that is including tax and everything. Brake Masters at Oracle and Ina in Tucson AZ was going to rip me off for $400. What a joke. I paid them about $600 a few months ago for things and never double checked the work they did and was very suspicious that they ripped me off. Now I know for sure.
I am telling everyone I know that they are crooks. Stay away from Brake Masters. They just pick the best location and take advantage of people who are not experts at car repair. Who knows how much money they have scammed from my family over the years. It hurts just to think about it.
Here is one more detail that proves to me they are ripping people off. While I was talking to the Brake Master guys my truck driver friend was sitting right next to me. I wrote down everything the mechanic told me needed to be fixed and at the end I told him I needed to explain this all to my truck driver friend and get back to him.
The mechanic must have been sweating bullets, because anybody with basic vehicle knowledge would clearly see through his price and quotes. If the mechanic had any integrity he would have told the truth right then and there. I myself have changed my front brakes in the past for less than $70 bucks. I assume the labor costs should be $70 which means it should only cost $140 for everything + maybe $15 in taxes. That's what I paid at the local honest mechanics shop. If it weren't for my truck driver buddy, I guess I would have figured it out myself and man am I glad I did. Tell all your friends to avoid that place.

sabotage
I took my van in to fix the front brakes which were completely worn. I expected to pay 79.95 (because of a special offer that was advertised) but paid $214.94. When the service was complete and I drove away I immediately heard some noises that weren't there before I took it there. I have family members who warned against taking my vehicle there because they sabotaged their vehicles resulting in very expensive repairs. Brake masters wanted me to pay $500.00 in repairs. I just couldn't do it. I didn't have the money. I barely had enough to pay for todays service. Now something is wrong with my steering rod. This problem was non existent before I took my van to Brake Masters. I have kids that I transport everyday in this vehicle. If anything happens while we are driving we could all get so hurt. Maybe even die. My children are not white but they live and breathe. This kind of sick ignorance does not have to be felt by racist pigs who decide to endanger lives of innocent people because their mom didn't have the money to boost their sales on Veterans Day.
