Ordered a set of front rotors/Brakes and a pair of brake shoes for the rear of a 2001 Toyota 4runner. The first issue I had was after I placed my order online I called to make sure I ordered the correct parts. I asked what was the difference between the 16 inch wheel rotor and non 16inch rotor for the year of my truck. No one could tell which one would fit the year/model of my SUV. All they could say was I would have to measure the disc and call them back to ensure the correct part was ordered which they don't tell you online, all they ask is does your vehicle have a 16 inch wheel or not, but luckily I had ordered the correct part but didn't know until I received everything and it actually fit. The second issue was when I got to the rear brake shoes after removing stock brake shoes I noticed that the pins and clips that were currently holding the springs in place were not removable from the stock brake shoes and they were no other parts in box with new shoes. I had to go to a local auto part store and buy $29.00 rear brake shoes with the fittings do complete the job. So I spent $21.00 less on a product and it came with more parts and completed my job. On their website they state that everything fits perfect no modifications needed, that's a lie. So I thought maybe someone forgot to put the extra fittings in the box to finish the rear brake shoes installation so I called and explained my dilema. They (Brake Performance) told me that I had to purchase the hardware kit for an additional 29.00 dollars that the brake shoes don't come with the pins to complete rear brake installation, at least for my vehicle, 2001 Toyota 4runner. So if you do the math for a rear brake shoes to be installed correctly or at all and to get them from Brake Performance I would have had to spend 50.00 on shoes and another 29.00 for hardware kit is that a joke or what and I'm not done. After calling them in order for me to get my money back from them I had to pay shipping 10.00 to rear brake shoes to them. Front rotors/brakes good products but back brakes for my truck was a horrible experience.
