I think this is a company that is struggling to get things right, but they don't have their process figured out yet
I ordered discs and pads for my VW Cabrio online on a Saturday evening. I got an email response right away (the same evening) showing the order had been sent via UPS Ground. No tracking number listed when I checked the order status. Seemed a little fishy, but I remained hopeful. After 5 days with no delivery (their site shows 2-4 days for West Coast shipping) I sent an email asking for the tracking number - no response. The next day (Friday) I sent another email - no response. I tried calling their customer service number on Saturday - no answer, I left a message to contact me or cancel my order. On Monday, however, I got an email that said the order was shipped Friday afternoon via Fedex and a tracking number was provided. The tracking number was legitimate and I didi get my order later in the week. I don't have the parts installed yet, but they are the correct discs & pads and the quality looks pretty good.
I think this is a company that is struggling to get things right, but they don't have their process figured out yet. I advise caution and persistance if you order from them. Their web site indicates that they will provide a tracking number for all orders. If they don't give you a legitimate tracking number right away, get after them and insist that they get it to you.

I recently order a full set of pads and rotors and received nothing, nor have I received a phone call back about my refund. How can I file internet fraud charges?

Another internet scam
I ordered brake parts in May, and I have not received anything. Called a month ago and they said they would re-ship the parts...nothing yet.This is an internet scam, and I am sure the good revies are generated by their own customer service dept if they even have one. What a feeling of hopelessness to be jacked by an American company while living overseas and serving the military! This is really fu&*(d up!

Still haven't received a refund for canceled order
Ordered rotors and after 2 months of waiting, I canceled my order. I was told via the live chat, which isn't there no more. That I would receive my refund in 48hrs., going on 2 weeks and no refund. From the looks of it, many of you, like myself have not or are still waiting on a refund. I wish all that has not receive their refund, would all band together and get our money back.

Stay away, biu elsewhere
This company is a sham. They DO NOT stand behind their warranty nor will they REFUND money. IF they had a decent product they would not have to refund money or replace products!! They DO NOT!!! Beware... I have documented e-mails where their Customer Service manager, Cassie Bond has stated I would get my money plus shipping costs. I spoke with their accountant who LIED saying I would receieve a check. It has been 90 days since I began this process.
STAY AWAY, BUY ELSEWHERE! YOU ARE WARNED!!

Just terrible
I purchased one of the packages from Brakeplanet that included rotors and brake pads. The pads that were included are clearly not the right ones. I've sent 3 nice and 1 not so nice note to their customer service website asking for resolution. They will not even return my note or contact me. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company. They are a rip off. I now have no choice but to dispute the charge and get my credit card comnpany involved. Just Terrible...

Very poor quality
I ordered a rear pair for Avalon for $103. I received them after one week. After spending $150 to put them on, the car vibrated at above 40mph. The tech said one of the rotors was warped and I had to pay $100 to take them off. I called the customer support. According their policy, they said they have to inspect before refunding and I may not receive the refund because I already used them on the car even though less than 10 miles. Now I have to pay around $20 to return. I may lose all.
My recommendation: Avoid this company or you will get hurt. Buy some brand name like Brembo or EBC... They are expensive but save you from headache. The rotors and pads are from China maybe. The quality are very poor.

Very unpleasant customer service
Very unpleasant customer service.I Was never told that my brake pads and rotors were out of stock.I think they only have one customer service rep. Everytime I call to check my order it is always the same unpleasant person that gave me the runaround.I tried to cancell my order, they said I can not. They told me ro wait for it to be delivered to just get a refund.I will never recommend this company to anyone.

Fraud and scam
I ordered a set of rotors on April 9, 2008. I received set on June 10, 2008. Because I never heard from them for 2 month I bought a set from another ventor. I returned the package unopened on June 13, 2008. I was told by jennifer in customer service to fax the order as well as the return receipts to them and I would receive a refund. I have called 10 times with no answer to the status of refund. I have left messages with customer service with no return calls. I also have left 3 messages with Bern ext# 2010. I have been placed on hold everytime I call back, I would appreciate any you maybe able to do. I am sure there are others in the same situation.
