In April 2009, we purchased a travel package that was to include a 3 night/4 day hotel stay, 4 VIP tickets, $25.00 dinner voucher, Coupon Book, $100 Gas Rebate Certificate and a 3/2 night bonus vacation for $179.00. Additionally, we had the option to add extra nights (of which we purchased one) for an additional $50 per night. This was in exchange for our attendance at a 90 minute presentation the day after arrival at one of their resorts. It turned out to be a presentation for a Private Residence Club which was yet to be constructed. We chose not to purchase a membership in the club or, I guess, rather an interest in one of the yet-to-be-built vacation homes. We were there from July 21-25, 2009. The gas rebate and bonus vacation was a joke b/c there were so many hoops and/or fees to be paid that there was no danger of us claiming these "gifts". We found out yesterday that the hotel we stayed in (Quality Inn on Hwy 76) charged us for our stay in the approximate amount of $315.00. The hotel says we signed a registration card that says we promised to pay in the event the second party does not. I have requested a copy of this registration card and the hotel bill. If I don't get it in one week, I plan to dispute the credit card charge.
