This was our first and definitely last visit to Brazen Head
So my wife and I decided to celebrate St. Patrick's day on 17 March 2010. I phoned Greg from Centurion twice to make a booking. At first I was quite impressed as he went out of his way to accommodate us but I could hear that on both calls there was chaos in the background, but decided to go anyway. Upon our arrival there was chaos with the table placements and no control over who was supposed to sit where. Many people left. No management was present on the floor and it seemed that the waiters were left to their own devices. I've never seen so many people complaining at a restaurantpub in my life. A lot of people left, and through the evening some very frustrated diners bought Kentucky and some even bought their drinks from a Chinese restaurant next door. There was absolutely NO SERVICE and the table next to us had a rotten steak (literally) as well as cigarette ash in their drinks. No need to mention they were furious. The only excuse from Greg was that they are extremely busy - what did he think? It is St. Patrick's day in an Irish pub??? And I must admit the place wasn't even full inside. This was our first and definitely last visit to Brazen Head.

Brazen Head has the worst service ever
I saw the advert of the Brazen Head's opening in the newspaper about a week ago. The grand opening was on 8 October 2009 and they also had a special that lasts for the following 4 weeks on Thursdays where you pay R29.50 and get Rump, two vegetables and chips.
We called them and made reservations for two. When we arrived our table was already occupied and we were seated and a table were the waiters had to push our chairs forward everytime they passed by.
We ordered our drinks and asked the waitress if we can also order our starter, but she said she'll come back to take our order for the starter a bit later. We waited for about half an hour before they served our drinks and she never came back to take our order as she promised. We ordered our starter & waited for about an hour and we did still not get our starter. We noticed the other customers complaining around us and saw them leaving in anger. After we finnished our drinks we heard the hostess anounce to the waiters that they cannot allow the guests to order the special any more as they ran out of rump to serve?!?
We got up as we were not prepared to wait any longer, paid for our drinks and left.
