I was searching for information about buying a puppy, and found some apparent realtionships between several websites.

I found some companies with several complaints against them, both at the BBB and on sites like this one. Then I found other newer sites that appear to be related.

Specifically, Breeder Network appears to be a new name for the company previously known as Breeders Direct. Breeders Direct started in 2007, and Breeder Network in 2010. An employee of Breeder Network, puppy specialist Brenda Norwich, posted on this website that several websites are owned by Breeder Network, but use breed-specific names. There are about 26 sites, and three of them are:

Beagle Breeder Breeder Network beaglebreedernetwork.com
French Bulldog Breeder Network frenchbulldognetwork.com
Toy Poodle Breeder Network toypoodlebreedernetwork.com

I found that these sites owned by Breeder Network all have the same internet registration, and it is at the same address as that of Breeders Direct - 4581 Weston Road #357 Weston FL 33331. Also, a "G C. Pendland" is the Technical and Administrative contact for all four websites. This is shown in the first picture below.

Also, I found that the West Palm Beech BBB lists a "Gwendolyn Pendlan" as the principal of Breeders Direct. This is shown in the second picture. Note the slight difference in spelling, perhaps a typo.

Also in the second picture is the fact that the BBB has an "F" rating for Breeders Direct, and they didn't respond to 21 of 64 complaints filed against them.

Also, there are other websites that appear to be either run by the same company, or one company took the website design from another.

Premium Breeders premiumbreeders.com and Puppy Payments puppypayments.com appear to be designed by the same person, as portions of the website have identical HTML code. Also, Puppy Payments has identical puppies as Breeder Network. Same ID #s, same pictures. I looked them up, and all have IP addresses right next to each other. This is shown in the third picture. This Puppy Payments website actually sells puppies with monthly installment payments!

People can draw their own conclusions from the reviews on the internet on these companies, and whether or not they are related. You would be safe to contact the local AKC club if you are shopping for a puppy. Buying from a local trusted breeder could help you avoid getting a sick puppy.
