I need to know what to do if my 19 year old son worked for this employer and has since quit because he was not getting payed or payed late. First off when my son started there Pa. had not settled there state budget so day care providers were not getting state funding.The budget was settled in oct. of this year. while the budget was not settled my son was getting 5 percent of his wages which was fine but once the budget was settled then he would be paidhe was to be paid on the 15th and30th of every month . well the budget settled and his employer would pay when ever she decided to. When my son would ask for his pay she would say next week. Well this went on for 1 month. My son was not payed from the 16 th till the 31 when he ask for his pay she told him next week. well he never got payed she would say next week so on the 10th of nov, he told her if he did not get payed by the 14 he would be quieting. well the 14th of oct. he went in and informed her he was quieting because she was not paying him she said sorry to see you go. When he went to his former place of employment to pick up his pay on the 16th she told him it would be mailed to him because he had quit. Well today is the 20th of november and he still has not been payed. She owes him for 1 month from the 16th of october till the 14th of november. What can I do to solve this problem with his former employer? He haS CALLED LABOR RELATIONS FOR WESTMORELAND COUNTY AND HE HAS BEEN GIVEN THE RUN AROUND. Can I also go after her for reconection fees> please help me in this matter.
