I ordered what I thought was a Free, “risk free”, trial offer of BrightTeeth: Whitening Systems but shortly realized I was wrong. After only two minutes of having this product in my mouth my gums began to burn and blister so I disposed of the product. I accepted and understood that I chose to use the product at my own risk so I did not bother to contact their officials. However when I received a charge of $83.95 to my credit card I called the Advanced Wellness Research customer service department and requested a refund and asked that my shipments be cancel. The customer service rep (who appeared to be in another country) told me that I COUND NOT receive a refund but that he would cancel my account, I was upset and frustrated, I called the customer service line three times hoping to speak to someone who could help and each time requested to speak to a supervisor but I was constantly told that HE would contact me at a later time.
The third gentleman I spoke to however seemed helpful and agreed to refund a partial amount of this charge, frustrated I agreed, he placed me on hold and told me that he would return with an RMA number but instead he returned to inform me that his supervisor told him that I COULD NOT be issued a refund because my account was already canceled, once again I asked to speak to his supervisor and he told me I could not, I even sarcastically asked him to tell me where his office was located, he paused to think for a few minutes then slowly butchered the pronunciation of “Wood Dale, IL”. I contacted my credit card company who agreed to help but informed me the office of complaints where closed and that I needed to call back the fallowing morning, I hope they will be able to fix the situation but if not, does anyone know who I can contact to get my money back? If not by land or by sea I am heading to IL and I am getting ever dime back.
