Don't fall for new website
Don't be fooled by their new website, it covers all the issues I brought up by complaining to our local Comcast office last month when the old BroadbandOffers website was up. BroadbandOffers has been used as a 2nd party vendor by Comcast and other companies for years and has been ripping off customers regarding rebates and money they took (100.00) for modems (google other complaint forums-these guys are master scammers). The complaints I sent out to Comcast headquarters and to my local office included: taking our money on credit within 24 hours and shipping before the 3 day 'cool off' period. This is a law in most or all states and is even longer in some. It has taken me a month of letters, emails, driving to the office, rude responses from BBO Reps, loss of work, etc. before Comcast stepped in and did something. Now, I see BBO has changed their website but I believe it is designed to cover their butts, glowing "testimonials" included. I believe they will continue to deceive and scam customers and get away with it as they have continued to do so since 2002. They changed their name from LeapFrog to Broadband Offers early on. Buyer Beware!

No modem was sent
I recently ordered from BroadbandOffers.com and its already been three weeks since the purchase but I am still without a modem. I scheduled an installation which I will probably have to cancel. Also my rebate time is running out.
I submitted several tickets on their website but never received any response. I was not given any tracking number for my shipping, so I am going just cancel this transaction through my credit card company. What a waste of time!

Beware
I purchased a MODEM from broadbandoffers and returned it within three days. They refused to refund me my money, based on a bogus claim that the MODEM had been damaged. The box was never opened and returned in the same box with all the bubble wrapping. It was all in an attempt to avoid refunding me my money. Please BEWARE when purchasing products from them. Their customer service is very inadequate, and they will NOT refund you your money.

Rebate scam
I ordered high speed internet, TV cable, and mediacom phone by the end of April 2009. There were two rebates through broadbandoffers.com: $50 for high speed internet and $50 for mediacomphone. I sent my rebate materials separately at the beginning of June 2009. I only got the rebate for high speed internet several months later. I contacted mediacom and someone told me that I should send my rebate again. So I sent my rebate request again with a note that this is my second time to send my rebate form since I did not get my rebate.
Today I got a notice from Broadbandoffer.com. They denied my request because I sent my rebate too late without any more explanation. So I sent broadbandoffer.com an email again to explain it. But they just simply told me THIS IS MANY MONTHS AFTER THE OFFER CLOSED. WE CAN NOT QUALIFY THIS REBATE.
I got one rebate, which means I sent my rebate forms in time. How could they say I did not send the rebate in time?

Shell Organization
This company is very hard to contact because they are just a shell organisation. The real company is Leap Frog Online / LPO Promotions and it is based in Evaston, IL. Here is their BBB entry:
http://www.bbb.org/chicago/business-reviews/internet-marketing-services/lfo-promotions-in-evanston-il-33004310
The BBB gives them a C+ rating, they run hundred of offer sites just like BroadbandOffers.com.

Scam artists--VERY misleading
I am just furious with this company right now! When ordering internet service through Time Warner, the website states that a wireless modem must be purchased through their partner, BroadBandofffers.com, and must be received before the technician can come for the install. (By the way, I am off to write up TW for this, as well) I already OWN a wireless router and don't NEED a wireless modem! Of course, once I called Time Warner to schedule the install, I was told that they provide a regular modem free and that customers don't really need the wireless modem that is "required" through Broadband offers.com. So, I tried to cancel the order (literally 10 minutes after placing it) and find out that I cannot (via their question-and-answer page). MOST reputable companies will allow customers to do this...and EVERY reputable company displays contact information (like a phone number) so that customers can call them. Not this company. If you want to talk to someone, you have to write a letter...and their website will not allow users to leave comments, either (even though this is clearly listed as an option).
Now I have to go through the process of returning this modem as soon as I receive it (btw, I have two special needs children, one of whom is on 24-hour tube feeds, that I have to drag to the post office with me)--and I have to HOPE that they credit the money back to my credit card. STOP BEING MISLEADING!

no refund - company contact info
I got shafted on the "no refund due to damage" line as well. I already commented on this incident but wanted to post the contact info I have because it seems like they are pretty hard to reach:
e mail: [email protected]
snail mail: 7523 Southlake parkway Jonesboro, GA 30236
phone: 1-877-668-7221
I also submitted a complaint to the better business bureau. It was pretty easy online and hopefully will have some repercussions.
I am going to do my best to annoy them through communication. Please feel free to join me.

No way to cancel an order
A few moments after I placed my order for the modem I realized I had made a mistake. Their website made me believe that the modem was mandatory even though it wasn't. Also, I could not complete step 2: installation because I do not have an SSN yet. So the order was essentially incomplete but I had already paid for the hardware (which was step 1).
I tried to cancel the order just minutes after placing it. But in their "terms and conditions" I saw that I could not do that. I mailed the the cancellation request before they shipped. But they politely refused to entertain the request and shipped the modem anyway. I called their customer service and they were rude and kept throwing "terms and conditions" at me without even explaining why the terms and conditions should be the way they are.
I would refuse the delivery for the modem when it arrives and (hopefully) get my refund. And hopefully I will loose no more then $10 in shipping. In my opinion they are not honest businessmen. Any real online retailer will have "cancel order" option for at least the time before the shipping is done. They can learn a thing or two from Amazon.
In all their terms and conditions are unreasonable and bordering fraud. They refuse to entertain cancellations even when orders are incomplete.

rebate rip off
I was given the wrong date to send in my rebate and was denied the rebate after finding out the representative told me to send the rebate 60 after, rather than before. I marked it in my calender and waited for the notification.
I asked to be helped, but they said I was out of luck and that I could not be helped.
Unfortunately I had no evidence that an idiot hired by them told me this.
I guess it's my fault in the end for trusting some uneducated moron over myself.
I should've reviewed and continued to distrust these horrible scam artists.
Plus the motorola wireless modem sbg900 wireless SRFboard Gateway is a very low quality router that worked irregularly. I eventually sold it to a geek for parts.
Don't go with this company. This is a warning.

NO Refund Returned
Back in January, Time Warner offers a free wireless modem through Broadbandoffers.com. But I have to pay for it first. So I charged on my Credit card.
Since I chose the Self-Installation, Time Warner still send a service man over. The service man refused to use & connect the wireless modem, so I ended up with a wired modem.
So I packed the wireless modem & items back into the original box with air cushions & returned it back to Georgia wasrehouse within 30 days. I spent another $13.35 just to return the items back.
After a month went by, I didn't hear anything at all from them, so I called up in March. The service Rep told me she would put it "priority" and I should hear from them through E-mail within 7 - 10 day.
I've been given the run around since the beginning of March, and now it's May & the Supervisor in charge said the Modem came back as "DAMAGED". So I argued with her, but no avail. No E-mail notification was send to me at all !! NO REFUND.
This is certainly a RIP OFF PUBLIC company.
