I ordered service back in July, When I received the modem I went online and downloaded my first bill from Comcast and shipped off my $30 and $49 rebates.
In November I realized I hadn't received them so I went online and checked the status, it showed they had been sent out in October. I found the number 877-668-7221 online and called and was told that they rebates were sent but that they would re-issue.
Just this week I looked at the status and the notes on the order state that the checks were deemed undeliverable and were returned to broadbandoffers.com. So I sent in a request and was told that since they issued 2 checks they weren't going to issue any more. I then called and was told the same thing so I asked for a supervisor (Kate was her name) who told me that she wasn't at liberty to issue another check so I asked for her manager she said she was the highest person of authority there and that I could contact their Complaints Dept at
[email protected] and put Attn: Complaints Dept in the subject line.
Once I found this site I called her back and let her know that based on the unresponsiveness to other people's complaints that I wasn't comfortable with the fact that this is my only recourse, she assured me I would be responded to. So I'm making my calendar and if I don't have a response within the 3 days she said it would take them to respond I will call her again.
She did say that the rebate terms & conditions states that checks will not be reissued, I just find it very convenient for them that 2 checks were sent to the same address that my modem and my bill are sent to each month and yet I happen to receive that bill in the mail every month without fail but suddenly when it's money that is owed to me it is undeliverable.
I'm not letting this one die purely on principle. I will get that check if it takes me contacting consumeraffaris.com (already lodged a complaint) and their companies higher ups. I did warn Kate that I would be posting her information and phone number on this site. So hopefully you will all contact her directly.
I hope you all do the same.
Give Kate my best!
