no product
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT IVE BEEN INVOLVE IN THIS SITUATION, WHERE I NEVER RECEVIED ANY PRODUCT . I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD BE RECEIVING A WALMART CARD AND THE PRODUCT BROMO CLEANSE, BUT NEVER RECEIVED EITHER . i DO NOT WANT MY BANK ACCOUNT WITHDRAWN FOR ANY MORE MONEY . No product but charged
I must have clicked a button to read something on line because this lady, who could barely speak English called me and said I was interested in her product. She talked very fast and like I said, was very poor english. She wouldn't take no for an answer and said I was already signed up so why not take the free trial? So I guess I said whatever, thinking I'll just call and cancel tomorrow. Then she goes off talking fast again and I could tell she was asking questions or saying "ok ms Hicks?" at the end of sentences because her voice would go up. I just kept saying " no thank you" . I finally just hang up. That was a mistake apparently, but I could not understand her!!!
I called the next day to cancel and, no kidding, they refused to do it. Said I might as well use my trial days to try the product, blah blah blah. Okay, so I called 2 days later to cancel, nope would not do it. Still no product delivered. I wait about 5 days and call them and tell them I have no product and my trial period is going to run out before I recieve the product so HOW can I TRY IT?? OH, no Ms. Hicks, don't worry. You will recieve product. Just wait a little longer. So I wait 4 more days. I call to cancel. Still no product. Still won't cancel . In my mind my days were up or only had like 2 more. I tried to insist but they wouldn't cancel. Of course, all of these CRs I spoke with did not record any of the phone calls, did not jot down a note or a date or anything. So anyway I called the very next day and would not get off the phone until they cancelled my account and promised not to charge me. A week later, 7 to 10 days later, a charge for $79.95 shows up on my account. Along with it another $70.00 charge. I called them to see what was up? they said I did not cancel in a timely manner. I argued with some lady for a quite a lengthy time about how many times I had called and that I still had never received the product. That's when I hear that no one had jotted anything down when I called but also the lady slipped up. She said "oh, they cancelled shipment of the trial on xx day (the call BEFORE they finally cancelled my membership) but not the membership. Then she let slip the day I called to cancel (the final call) and they did not post the cancellation until 7 days later so that it fell outside of the trial period. It still blows my mind how I had a trial period for a product that was never shipped to me...????? You will never believe her answer to my dilema, and my being so upset...she offered to mail out another shipment for another free trial period!!! Can you believe it???? Outrageous. Anyway, she said it is NOT their policy to give any refunds, at all, for any reason. Wow.
I called the number that showed up on my bank account for the other $70.00 charge. The answered "Energize Up". Something I had never heard of again. I asked who they were, what product they sold, and how they sold it to me when I had never heard of it and how they got ahold of my account number. She explained that Broma Cleanse sends our information to them as a courtesy but was probably in that mumbo jumbo I kept saying no to and finally hung up. She made it sound like it was a "courtesy" to me by their company. I asked her to cancel the membership and I would be looking for a refund. She said "Oh no, it is not our policy to refund". Said I missed the trial date. Missed the trial date?? I didn't get the product!! Didn't know I had a trial, let alone a trial date!! I had nothing about this product. I don't even know how Bromacleanse got my account information. I have since cancelled my debit card that it was charged to. I have read so many complaints about Bromocleanse that I am afraid they will try to charge my again. I am at my wit's end. Can you help me at all? This business should be shut down. I don't even know if they have a product after reading complaints. I think it is just a scam that charges shipping, handling, etc to make some money on virtually nothing.
