I too purchased a FREE cd for 2.99 and have had a further charge of $39.95 taken from my credit card not knowing what it was for.
I called customer services on 866 370 7270 and explained what had happened and they said that I signed up for membership services. I had also been enrolled into 2 other plans with monthly fees that I had no knowledge of!
I was told that the forms stated that this was the case and that all charges were clearly visible. If they had been clearly visible, I would not have purchased the CD in the first place. I think that this is a scam and am most annoyed. Especially as this is aimed at students who do not have the money to part with.
I asked for the charges to be refunded and all enrollments, whatever they might be, to be cancelled. They gave me 3 confirmation numbers for the 3 seperate plans. UNBELIEVABLE - WE WILL SEE IF THEY DO WHAT THEY SAID!

I am being charged $39.95 per month for a service I never asked for or applied for.
