Blocking of prepaid SIM
I lost my phone which had a BSNL prepaid connection. I called up customer care to find out the procedure for cancellation and subsequent replacement of SIM card. They told me that I would have to get a police complaint and a fax to a particular number stating my connection details for cancellation. I went and got the complaint and faxed the details to BSNL. I subsequently called up customer care who stated that their system was non-functional at the time and to call later. The next day when I called again, they stated that they had not received the fax (though I had got the fax tone before sending and had a transmission verification report). I resent the details only to hear again from them that they had not received the fax. During this time, my phone was still active and someone was utilizing whatever talktime I had.
Other providers would let you block the SIM over the phone and have a simple procedure (without Police complaint) to get a replacement.

New landline telephone connection problem
I had booked one telephone connection on date 05/04/2007, vide consumer no.48653562, was told at the time of connection that with in 15days i got the new connection, but still 5 months after i was waiting for the new telephone connection, i had connected every tel. Exchange office, but i am not able to get proper respond.
Will bsnl officers help me to get the connection.

I lost my faith in BSNL
A copy of email I sent to BSNL - Bangalore:
I am BSNL prepaid (Excel General ) customer in Bangalore.(Karnataka) Recently in month of March 2007 I recharged my Prepaid Number using recharge - voucher of value greater than Rs 2200. /- along which I got an extra
FREE SIM card ( Mobile.No:
SIM Card number :89917-15061-45152-9305 ) as per offer..
My parents used this extra SIM card in Dakshina Kannada District (Karanataka) and they tried to recharge the same mobile number with recharge voucher number Sr.No. 000064829336 with the valid procedure.within grace period But the BSNL server replied " This recharge Voucher has been Blocked " .
Then my Parents lodged complaint about it in nearest - Puttur BSNL-CC.
On 1'st may 2007 There at Puttur BSNL Customer Care Person replied " It is blocked in Bangalore BSNL CC. we can not help . Better you enquire at Bangalore CC" .
Hence I took the same SIM card and Complaint sheet ,and voucher to Bangalore and started enquiring about case with Bangalore Customer support peoples.. in first week of june 2007..
Surprisingly Customer care peoples at Indiranagar BSNL CC shouted on me and they said " We can not help if u come after so many days " a nd they told me to call customer support number .9400024365 . Hence I called 9400024365 and tried to get help. But even then customer support person said " You can visit nearest Bsnl Office and can get replacement Voucher"
Hence again i went BSNL office which is on Palace Road Bangalore to collect new replacement voucher for Recharge Voucher Sr.No 000064829336 on 10th Sept 2007
But unfortunately I got a following response from one of office person
" This is government office You might have come earlier . We can not help."
Note : After all those misleading guidelines by BSNL officials I realized not to visit BSNL office again. Because I experienced that whom ever I meet in BSNL office ,He doesn't know the proper solution for the problem with me.and they were slipping from helping me.So I realized
By now I realized that BSNL never hesitates in looting money from Subscribers.by telling " its too late to enquire about this case"
Now i am asking one question ...
This is what for the Government offices are for ?
Ultimately I lost more than 5000 Rupees to Just get a Replacement Voucher..!!
More over I lost the sim Card too because of Not recharging it again after voucher get blocked. Ultimately now i lost faith too...

Wakeup or give up bsnl
I have a bsnl landline connection with a broadband bearing #080-25441791 which however doesn't work from past 9 days, i have made many efforts to clear my line, in fact i had trice been to brinavan telephone exchange, all got is waiting there for about 5 to 15 minutes till the bsnl employees complete their chitchat, personal talk and then somebody takes my telephone number and informs me that line man will be there or will call back...! Its been 9 days waiting still no response, is this the service what we deserve??? What r the superiors doing? Sleeping too?? I lost hope on them. Can anybody help me in this problem...

New connection problems!
Yes, I booked for new landline and broadband connection on 12.3.07; till now no action from BSNL (Bangalore) side. Not sure, whom should I contact for further followup. Once I personally went to commercial office where I booked the connection and got 2 contact numbers for further inquiry, but no luck.
In BSNL Bangalore official web site also no option to book complaint my case. If anyone knows the suitable method to track it, please guide me.
