It is really pathetic to confront such apathetic attitude from the officials
It has been ONE year since I had requested for a transfer of my land line Tel no - 28513293, Subscriber Name- Sonia Kutty ( my wife ). First I was made to run between the HRBR office and Ramamurthy nagar office and then commitments that the transfer shall be effected withing a weeks time for the last one year. It is not a situation where I am living ina godforsaken place where there cannot be any connectivity. All my neighbors have their bsnl connections. I had even requested for a wireless connection if they have a problem (which they only knows) in giving fixed land line. All these were exercises in futility and it is really pathetic to confront such apathetic attitude from the officials.

BSNL is a real junk
I had applied for a new telephone connection and a broadband connection nearly 2 months back. The telephone connection was provided nearly ater 20 days whereas other private providers give in the second day. Regarding broadband I haven;t got the connection still. I had contacted almost all employees in our exchange regarding this. They are neither providing the connection nor accepting the cancellation. I have never had such a worst experience. All other private providers activate the connection in maximum 3 days. This BSNL is a real junk.

The broadband is not giving the specified net speed of 256KBps. and discconects frequently say within 5-20 minutes. Whom to complaint locally is also not clear. The call center 1957 is not prompt it simply books the complaint and persuace is to much delayed.

It is no better than a dial-up connection
The dataone broadband which is supposed to provide 256kbps transfer rate hardly give 10kbps speed during downloads. It is no better than a dial-up connection.

They do not understand/care for customers difficulties
I bought a top-up recharge coupon 3 days back. Tried to recharge it thru the phone as directed in the recharge coupon. It did not succeed. Then called up the customer care and they said it will be recharged by next morning. It did not happen so. I called up again next day morning and the Customer support personel said, they will look into the matter and it will get recharged by evening. It did not get recharged in the evening also. I called up the customer care again in the evening. They replied it will be OK withing 24 hours. It still is not recharged. I could not use my mobile for the last 3 important days. All the time i have to repeatedly tell them my phone number, my recharge coupon serial number. I had given them my home number, recharge coupon 18 digit number and serial number as they asked for the same. They have also said they will contact me back soon. But no use. All the time different persons were attending the call. Some of them were not friendly to talk to. I have given up my attempt and are going to buy some other SIM card. I hate BSNL simply because of their poor customer care. I wont recommend anybody to go for Excel. They do not understand/care for customers difficulties.

I would cancel cellphone service and would never opt this service in my life
I Am a troubled customer of cellone the problem of mine is i have taken the post paid connection of cellone in the 325 scheme in tezpur (assam) i was using it for the last 2 years but as i heard the Rs 100 scheme of cellone i immediately applied for it in the month of november 2005 but my sim has not yet been converted to the said scheme and the security deposit which i have paid has not been adjusted in my bill and more over i am getting the montly rentel of Rs 325 where as i have to get Rs 100 as the rentel i am 16 kms away from the local bsnl office and have been to the office of the senior accounts officer twice he says the this is delt by the exchange people i went to the exchange of bsnl and met the JTO he said that this is delt by the accounts office then i went and met mr boraha in the accounts office he said that it is delt by the telemart departement which issues the forms this has become the routine there is no one to guide me proprely and there behaviour is so rude that i feel hurted . By all this troubles i thought to opt for reliance post paid connection and applied for it the moment i get the sim from relience i would cancel cellone service and would never opt this service in my life.
