Worst Possible Service
I am Devalin from Bangalore. I stay in RT Nagar and after trying for about 7 months, finally got a BSNL DataOne Connection with a DareGlobal DB108 Type-1 modem about a month back.
The connection, however , lasted only for a couple of weeks, that too with very poor speed and getting disconnected for 15 minutes after every 5 minutes.
Then suddenly it went totally disconnected. I have called up BSNL broadband customer care (1800 424 1600) at least 50 times in the last 2 weeks. And, everytime I was put on hold for at least 20 minutes to finally reach a customer support executive. After every question I asked I was put on hold as no one of them know what exactly they are doing. Everyone of them asked me the same questions, made me manually change the same configuration settings in the router page http://192.168.1.1 but ....
NOTHING really happened. Absolutely N-O-T-H-I-N-G.
In fact I wanted to congratulate BSNL on this from the bottom of my heart as I was 50 times told by the ladies that the issue would be resolved at the erarliest.
I invariably face 3 situations when I call customer care :
1. No one picks up and the phone keeps ringing
2. Whoever picks up doesn't have any knowledge whatsoever about the status of my application and ends up again giving me the above 3 numbers (back to square one)
3. One person keeps me on hold, another person comes, then he/she again keeps me on hold and goes searching for another person who as usual would not be available at that time and then the first person comes back and gives me the above 3 numbers again (back back back to square one).
It's AMAZING !!! Isn't it?
This is probably the only Customer Care Service in the whole world that
(i) doesn't bother to take calls,
(ii) instead of resolving issues creates further complications, and
(iii) doesn't have a single clue about what they are doing.
What on earth is a customer like me supposed to do in these situations?
Some popular actress, who gets money for doing it might sing, dance, jump and say "BSNL best hai mere liye" on TV but believe me, I am literally S-I-C-K and tired of BSNL now.
BSNL is run by incompetent and inneficient people.
Thanks , BSNL, for staying ignorant and indifferent to your customers by providing the worst possible kind of Customer Service.

Lousy and very poor service
Hi, I am a resident of Chinchwad Pune. I had requested for GPRS service by sending SMS to 3733 just as explained by a customer care person. I have sent the SMS on 25th July 07, however, even after a week it is not activated. (As per their system it will get activated within 24-48 Hrs).
I spent a full 3 Hrs talking to 6 different people from BSNL customer care on 2nd. Aug. Repeating the whole story to each of them .Surprisingly, Two of them just could not find my request, where as other four could trace it and accepted that it was received on 25th July ! Still no one could tell me why it was not activated yet. They kept asking me to send the SMS again or give an application to near by exchange where I purchased the SIM. None of their seniors came online when I requested.
It is very disgusting that customer care people them self does not know how to help the customer. It seems there is no discipline or system. It is pity that, the biggest service provider of the country offers such a lousy and very poor help to their customers.

Landline feasibility, broad band
I am a BSNL customer since long back, recently I shifted my residence from JP Nagar II Phase to Raghuvanahalli, Kanakapura road which comes under Talghattapura telephone exchange. My landline got shifted to new residence, but I was given a fixed WLL phone, the reason BSNL said is no feasibility for landlie, this is something strange reason as there is a feasibility around 500 too 600 ft to my house, more over am I living in some where remote are or in Bangalore so called hi tech city, silicon city, IT capital of India. This is something BSNL should regret to say the strange reasons as the other operators are already have the feasibility and they are operating in our area and they are ready provide the services to me. I spoke to Divisional engineer of JP Nagar Mr. Jaiswal & Talghattapura exchange and they are not able to tell me when they can provide me a landline, the problem is I am looking for a broadband and without landline I can't get the broandband service. I even sent a mail to area manager and but no response, I asked them if you are not provide the same let me know so that I can go to other providers but they are not able to.

Poorest speed!
Since last month broadband speed is 8.7 to 87.8, where ever it should be 256. The monthly bill bsnl is sending rs 900/-. It should be less than 200/-. Bsnl is the poorest broadband service provider. I want to shift to some other provider if the service is not improved.

Poor service!
I have BSNL excel Prepaid card and its no. is +919428025261. I got problem with this card when i change my new mobile instrument Samsung X200. With this instrument i can not call any one ever its customer care center. But i can send and receive messages as well as i can receive call. But it works fine in other instrument as well as other sim card work fine in my mobile instrument.
Customer beware!!!

Connection problem!
I have a bsnl landline connection number 01202412559 which has not been working for the past one month. I have been to the telephone exchange more than ten times still theres no connection. My phone is still dead. I hope to get my connection working as soon as possible with this complaint letter.

New connection delay!
I also applied for new connection on 26 May 07 and absolutely nothing from their side till date. They gave few numbers but nobody responds from those numbers. How long this BSNL will be pain??

No action for new connection from BSNL since 3 months!
I have booked for the new telephone connection with broad band in BSNL since 17/04/2007. While i booked i was told the connection will be provided you within a week. But after a week i have been regularly going with the consumer no. to the exchange near to my house(National game village, Kormagala, Bangalore) Every time i have in tuch with the Mr Suresh (A.E) Mr.Nagraj (JTO) over phone also. Every time i have been assured to get the connection within 2 days or very next days. but nobody asked so far for the telephone connection yet.
If i call after two days always Mr. Suresh talk to me very rudely. Also asked me to withdraw my booking, by saying there is problem in that area you withdraw your booking.
Really don't know to whom shall i ask to help me. I don’t believe, like this will be happening in Bangalore city ? as I am waiting for a new telephone connection since last 3 month. Even if i asked them, the employees are talking badly. Really i am frustrated in this kind of service of BSNL Bangalore, (Kormagla Branch).
I would like to question some thing.
1. If they are not able to do in this area then why did they receive for registration?
2. If there is a problem in that area (Ramamandir lane, EJI Pura, Kormangala, Bangalore) how may months they need to rectify it.
3. Why the BSNL employees are behaving bad to customers.

Connection not available even after 2.5 months application
No connection even after 2.5 months of application for broadband service as was promised connection within one month of application as they were going under a expansion plan. Called in again said upgrade the plan will get connection early did it but till now no connection has been there.

Non accessing of caller tune!
Being a customer of excel prepaid bearing the no.:-9474545219, I have requested for a caller tune dated:-01/07/07 at around 1500 hrs & a charge of rs twenty(Rs 20/-) has been deducted immediately from my balance. But till now writing of this letter the service has not been extended. Acknowledging the matter & wanted to know the actual reason for the delay over phone Mr. Victor Baidya who was talking from customer care acted negatively & telling me that it can take one month or more & disconnected the line without any courtesy or decorum which are maintained so far!
