Terrible customer service!
I am a resident of Flat No 26, HCL towers , Plot No B-9/16 Sector 62 Noida. I had placed a request for Broadband to BSNL company 1.5 months back and till today it is not functioning. Earlier they took 1 month to come and set up the Broad Band connection at my place and now also even it is set it not working because it is not able to verify my Use Name and password. I am tired of calling the BSNL people again and again but every time I call them they say that it will be done tomorrow. Are these the services provided to the customers? It's really disgusting. I am fed up of this now. I feel like taking back my request of Broadband.

Not received the deposit amount for 6 months
I took a post paid connection(for a number 9444010612) and surrender the same on March,2006.

I have deposited 1000 while taking the connection and later another 1000 for other facilities.

While surrendering the connection I was informed that i will be getting the deposit amount(Rs.2000) after 3 months ,but i have not received any letter or amount from BSNL till June,2006.

I went to the Madavelli BSNL exchange on July,2006 directly and enquired about it.I have received a response like it is still under processing and i will be receiving a letter and cheque in another 3 weeks.

I have received a letter from the BSNL office dated 17,August for my deposit amount but i have not received any information regarding the cheque.

Again i enquired and still they are telling that it will take another 2-3 weeks of time.

Actually i have to receive the amount on June or July itself,but due to the irresponsible persons who are all doing this process,i have not received it yet.

My concern is, if they are delayed to settle the amount to the customers then the BSNL office is responsible for sending the amount with some percentage of interest and this interest has to be deducted from the salary of the people who are all responsible for this delay of clearing this cheque.

This will push them to do their duties on time.

I hope this will be taken into consideration and necessary steps would be taken.

Plan change problem
I have the internet connection of data one "plan home-500". I Apply to change my plane to home 900+ and activate my 2 email address, I am also deposit the required deposit. Rcpt no is 2 month go. My plan not change yet. I contact every person by phone, there is no result!

No response for 3 months
I have a complaint against BSNL. I have applied in April 2006, for a broadband connection in Sec55, Gurgaon. The BSNL marketing people gave me a confirmation that the connection will be given in a week. However it is already three months and still there is no response from the BSNL office.

I have spoken to almost every official at BSNL Gurgaon office. The list includes

Ms Sneh: Marketing representative
Mr Kataria: Engineering head
Mr Naveen: DGM sec 56
Mr Meena: DGM sec 55
Mr Bhargav: PA to GM
Mr Singh: The GM himself

The department is not taking any step to resolve the issue. Initially they gave an excuse that they don’t have a modem. After a month they started saying that they don’t have port capacity in sec 55/56. This process is going on and now the matter has reached a stage where they disconnect the call. This is a perfect example of how a PSU works. On the other side Airtel and Reliance are giving connection in 3 days.

I would appreciate if you can take up this matter on my behalf.

Delay in BSNL new connection
I had applied for new connection in Marathalli was discarded first saying reference BSNL phone number not present in the application form... later reference phone number of my neighbor was provided and then application for new connection was accepted. and we were told in 20 days we will get the new connection. Now 1 month got over we have not got new connection yet. The person who is responsible for inquiries related to the connection never picks up the calls. Very bad service!

My name is Chaitanya Vinod Siddeshwar. I had applied for a transfer of BSNL landline from Mysore to Bangalore 6 months back. I haven’t got the connection till now. I have been contacting the field officer Mr. Sridhar for the first 2 months. After getting bad response from him, I also wrote a complaint to Mr. S.G.Kulkarni, who is the Commercial Officer for our area (HSR Layout – full address below). He also seems to have completely neglected my complaint. No action has been taken till now. I also wrote an email to [email protected] - no action taken.

I am opting for BSNL because of the excellent service I got in Mysore – I really miss the same here in bangalore with officers being very negligent. I could have easily opted for another service provider in the excellent telecom Market with many attractive offers, but I have used BSNL landline from past 15 years (from my childhood), and want to continue with it. In this competitive market, if the service is like this, believe me sir, BSNL has a very dark future.

I still have a hope from you that you will get things done and provide me with a landline. This is my last attempt to get the BSNL landline. If this also doesn’t work, I will cancel my request and opt for a better service provider. I am also planning to get the data one broadband service from BSNL. So sir, please do something about this. I will send you the work order number if you need it to solve this problem. I can send it to you tomorrow.

Customer gets phone after 1 year without broadband
The service of brookfield office in marathalli is so pathetic. After continuous follow up we got the BSNL telephone connection after one year. Now its almost 1 month that we are yet to receive the broadband connection. I am so upset and really not sure whom to complaint. Daily going to the office and remainding them is also not helping me get a broadband.
