Contacted BT well in advance as we were moving and we wanted our Landline transferred to a mobile phone while we were having to wait a few weeks until we could move into our next property, they gave us a few options and was told to ring on the day our landline was going to turned off at 5pm, by 1pm it has been switched off this is when we needed to contact the Utilities company’s at the last moment before we left. 8 days on a dozen of phone calls between the UK & INDIA to BT it turns out that the order has not been put through - They had made another mistake - Had anyone from BT bothered to contact us NO. We are the customer getting a shocking poor service from a company that should know better.
Our complaint will be going to ofcom, the Chief executive of BT and BBC Watchdog programme.
I would urge all other unhappy BT customers to tell WATCHDOG of your complaint
