Budget Rental Car/Truck Reviews

Scam Sale Person
I'm a regular customer of "Enterprise Rental Car" and "U-haul." I have always rented from them and never had a problem with their Sales people or their services. Recently, I was trying to save some money and saw online "Budget Rental, " has a cheaper price. I learn it the hard way, I end-up getting scam by "Budget Rental." Now, I'm getting billed double the price for a damage I didn't cause and lie by their Sale agent.
I reserved my vehicle from "Budget Rental." When I arrived to the location the employee had the vehicle placed out front. My friend and I went in and was greet by a nice friendly Sale agent. BEWARE OF THE supposely FRIENDLY AGENTS. All 3 of us went through the paperwork; name address, who was the driver...etc. Then the Sale agent asked if we wanted insurance for the vehicle. We said definitely, and ask the Sale agent what do they have to offer. We told the Sale agent we wanted "full coverage, " for the vehicle. We even explain and described to her if there's anything scratches, dents...etc that we might cause to any part of the vechile is the insurance we wanted. The Sale agent told us about the 3 different options they offered and repeatedly told us that the first insurance is our best choice since all we wanted is "full coverage, " for the vehicle. We went with her suggestions, sign the contract and went to do the walk through. We didn't feel as if we needed to do the walk thru since we got "full coverage, " insurance on the rental.
We only rented it for a day usage for $300 (it was a long drive & a moving truck). When we return the vehicle the next day to another location, the Sale agent there said there were 2 minor damages to the top of the vehicle. I told the Sale agent at the returning location that we didn't cause that accident, we must have missed it during our walk thru. Then I told her I bought "full coverage, " insurance from them. When the Sale agent went to check our insurance, we were told we only had partial insurance. We didn't understand what that meant by "partial, " insurance; the insurance we got only covers the bottom part of the vehicle and not the top part. We told the Sale Agent we were told by the other Sale Agent in Las Vegas "Budget Rental, " that we bought "full coverage, " insurance. The Sale Agent asked us to fill out a accident report but we refuse because there was no accident to report plus we bought "full coverage, " insurance. We paid for the rental and left. The follow week I get a claim/bill from "Budget Rental, " about $600 for the damages that I didn't do.
I call their "Budget Rental Car/Truck, " claim department, and I explain to the Agent what had happen; that I was told by their "Budget rental, " Sale Agent that I had "full coverage, " for the said vehicle. She asked me if I sign their contracts. I said yes because I was lead to believe that I was getting what I asked for which was "full coverage, " insurance for the entire parts of the vehicle. Their Claim Agents told me that the insurance I bought from them had a "stipulation, " and it's not their Sales Agent jobs to tell us about it. In another word, "Budget Rental Car/Trucks, ' has Sale Agents that lies their customers to get more money from us and that the "Budget Rental, " Company doesn't care that their Sale Agent lies to customers to make money. If I were told by the Sale Agent, who knows more about their hidden policy for their car insurance than I do as a customer, about a "stipulation, " I wouldn't have bought that insurance. "Budget Rental, " is making the claim that "I as a customer didn't read (the numerous pages of contracts signed) before signing that it was my fault. I wonder how many consumer out there read all the fine prints of any contracts before signing. What's the purpose of having a Sale Agents? I guess in "Budget Rental, " case Sale Agents are there to mislead customers to thinking they're getting a good deal/what they want. I would never ever buy car insurance with a "stipulaton, partial...etc." We were lied too by their Sale Agent. We will never never rented from "Budget Rental, " (AVis is own by Budget Rental too). There are several complaints you can find online about "Budget Rental."
