A moment of your time to discus a problem with my GM vehicle .Back in November 2010 I brought my car into Ingersoll Auto in Danbury CT for repair, for loss of power, AWD light on and ABS light on .It took them 2 months until January 2011 for them to tell me my car was repaired and it cost me $2300.00 New Computer PCM front and rear axles ABS sensors .I had my car for 2 days and had loss of power over heating, and service engine lights on again so I brought it back to the dealer they told me it was a bad thermostat and that it needed to be replaced. I have to admit with a little argument they did not charge me labor but did charge me $75.00 for parts I felt that was fair and said ok.This was a 3 hour job I waited for the repair to be done and they told me everything was ok all fixed I left the dealer got ½ mile down the road and the car over heated, and had loss of power, and service engine lights on I called them and they said come back and they will check it out .Now I wait another hour again they come out and tell me my car is all fixed and that there was just air in the lines and they had to bleed them and it is all fixed and ok to go. This was on Friday I brought the car home a 45 minute ride to my house all seamed ok heat was coming and going warm cool I didn’t think much thought it all was ok until I take the car out Sunday for a 1 mile ride into town and the car over heated and had loss of power and service engine lights again I call Ingersoll Auto in Danbury Ct again spoke with Jeff Polumba and he told me to bring the car back in and have it checked out. I was afraid to drive it so I had it towed to the dealer at my expense not there’s now they tell me the head gasket is bad .Once they get it apart now all of a sudden the Cylinder heads are cracked and need replacement and now I have to pay another$ 2800.00 for this repair .Now I am out $5100.00 in repairs not counting the tow and it is February 18th 2011 I still don’t have my car still waiting for the repair so in the last 3 months I have had my car a total of 4 days the rest of the time it has been at the dealer for repair. This is my first GM vehicle it is a 2004 Buick Rendvouz which I bought new in 2004, I am not sure if it’s the GM product or if it’s just this dealers lack of technical knowledge, They are a GM certified dealer. I am sure there is nothing you can do for me(please let me know if there is) but I do thank you for letting me tell you of my experience with my GM vehicle .
