FOOD
i would like to know policy on plastic gloves while preparing food for the public IS THIS A POLICY OR NOT I think that when preparing food for the public your staff should be wearing gloves when I asked a manager why she was not wearing gloves she replied they wash their hands every hour while i continued to watch see touched multiple items still continuing to prepare food for myself and others i was not the only costumer that voiced their opinoin we felt that this is a unsanutary way of business ALL FOOD PREPARERS SHOULD THINK OF THE PEOPLE THAT ARE COOKING THEIR FOOD WOULD THEY LIKE TO KNOW THAT THE PERSON COOKING FOR THEM IS NOT THINKING OF THEIR PERSONAL WELLBEING .

Where has quality gone
For about 19 years now, I have been going to fast food places. As far back as I can remember, I have eaten fast food. Ive been through the worst of it, and I have been there for the best of it. Through all the changes each company makes, things they add on, things they take away, and never in my life, have I felt more violated by a company than I have with my ex- favorite fast food.
I think I was about 12 when I made my first conscious descision on which fast food place was my favorite. I chose Burger King. I loved the flame broiled burgers. I loved their new fries, I loved how everything was delicious and fresh. At the time, I lived in Illinois, so not every town got to enjoy a BK. Eating there was a rarity for me, and one of my many pleasures.
Skip forward 8 years - I move out to California on my own, to orange county. Orange county is one of the nicest places in the United States, and to my surprise, has some of the WORST Burger King I have ever seen. I get more water in my mouth from biting into a microwaved burger king burger, than I do drinking a cup of water. At first, I just thought it was this one Burger King on Jamboree. My friends had said they had terrible workers, so I just kind of brushed it off, and went along with my day, still boasting that Burger King was my favorite fast food restraunt, and that this one had seen better days.
Skip a little bit more forward: I've landed a new job on the other side of Tustin. Red Hill. The burgers only get more and more wet. Strange. I seemed to love the "char broiled" taste, but now I just have soggy meat. I figured, must just be because I'm ordering off the dollar menu. OK then, I'll fork out 6 dollars for a REAL burger. After a minute the guy hands me an incredibly small bag containing my 6 dollar burger and fries. (the double stacker medium, no cheese) I look inside, and I can't believe it. This burger is the exact same size as a dollar one. Where did all of my extra money go? Was it to the paper thin bacon about 1 inch large streched out onto the patty? Was it this forein yellow sludge caked into the meat? Well it definitely wasnt for these 2.5 inch WIDE patties... I havent felt this ripped off in a while. I sat there in my car looking down at this burger that wasnt even the size of my palm, (and don't get the wrong idea, I'm a skinny kid.) and I was furious. I didnt know whether to ask for a refund, if they could just exchange this burger and fries for 3 of the dollar burgers... or what to do. All I knew was instead of getting more for 6 dollars, I got a dollar burger, and some cold fries.
Burger King... I take back everything I have told people about you in the past. You are terrible. Never again will I waste my money on you until you do the right thing and start making hamburgers right. I do admit, I havent seen any "Char broiled" slogans lately. At least its good your not lying. Just remember you boast to be the King of Burgers... How about actually following through with that?

bad customer service
Okay so my hubby and I went to the BK store on Saturday 10/3/2010. We ordered a deluxe breakfast, an egg and cheese only croissant, funnel cake sticks, and a breakfast ciabatta club combo with meat and cheeses only on the sandwich. The order was repeated correctly at the drive thru and we paid for our order and went home. At home the ciabatta sandwich had everything on it and my hubby is allergic to tomatoes and the scrambled eggs in the deluxe breakfast were more like scrambled rocks. I googled the store and called them and spoke to the manager who said she would replace the entire order the next morning if we came in, but she was not going to be there- her associate Yvonne was. Then on Sunday 10-4-2010 we went to the store for our replacement breakfast. Apparently I called the wrong store which was one exit up. The male manager on duty named Mack looked at my receipt and i told him what had happened and how his store messed up my order the day before. He simply stated that I called the wrong store because Suzanne didnt work at his store. He took my receipt and walked away. He said nothing. My hubby stood there looking clueless and eventually moved down the counter because people came in behind us. The manager was preceding to fill orders. We waited a few minutes. Then Mack the manager told the worker in back to make a ciabatta club with no tomato and no egg on it. Now, my hubby cant have tomato sauce either. I corrected him when I heard that and said, " and no sauce." He said, "excuse me?" I said, "if thats ours, no sauce either." He looked very annoyed and actually mumbled under his breath. When the sandwich was done, he put in in a bag and threw it on the counter by us. I said, "wheres the rest of our order?" he said, "you called the other store." I said, " yeah and it was my bad, but our whole breakfast was ruined yesterday and my deluxe breakfast had horrible eggs too. I was told my whole order would be replaced." He said, "no." I said, " well so one store 6 miles a ways would replace the whole thing and you wont?" He then said, "no, have a nice day." I told him we would never come to that store again and I would drive out of my way to go to the other store. We then left very livid at how we were treated. I then called the other store i accidentally called and told the manager on duty Yvonne what happened. She said they should have replaced the order and that if we brought our receipt she would still replace it even though they did not make the mistake. I will never eat at BK again.

overcharging for kids meals!
Unbelievable that in this day where we're trying to keep our kids healthy that Burger King has to charge you extra if you want apple fries or apple juice instead of fattening fries and sugar pop. Guess that's what I get for going fast food! Won't be doing that again - almost 6 dollars for a kids meal for my 2 year old! Utterly ridiculous!

this is very disturbing yes i really dont kno whats goinn on but wen i use to go to burgerking in onliville we use to order ok they use to get the orders mixed up they play around the whole burgerking is ridged ok now but first and for most if you was to joke order something u sometimes here them playin around n when u get upset they think its your fault n then wen u do get mad they wanna take it out on ya food now what ima bout to tell you is disturbing a female that works there my boifriends so called friend she tells him what be going on at her job she still works thier but she dont wanna tell on people cause she think she gunna lose her job but her boss n some other kids they like to spit in ur food n do other unnecessary things to your food now i heard they got fired but i went there recently n the people that she say is doin it they are still there i mean that is just plain nasty n the bread be sometimes moldy and thats is so unhealthy i hope we can get some one to go thier n disguises or someone to see whats goin on because if i finf someone doing anything to my food burger king will be torn to piece i mean really that is the most disrespecting thing to do

MANAGER VERY RUDE
I went to the drive up to order and a women named NIKKI while I was ordering was VERY RUDE. I could not complete my order she was soooo rude. I was so shocked from her behavior I go out of the car and asked the car behind me to please back up so I could leave the drive up. I then went inside and got her name to make a offical complaint. She is a manager too! I have never heard anyone be so snotty and rude to a customer. I would go there every morning for breakfast, that will NEVER happen again!

Telling me HOW TO buy your food & use your coupons
On Sept 6th at 6:14pm I wanted to use your Coupon following taking the survey & calling the 1-866#. Your coupon states that I'd get a free sandwich with the purchase of ANY size drink and fries...so I was with my son and wanted to order a WHOPPER for me & purchase the $.99 drink and the $.99 fry - my son is too small to drink and eat anything larger - the employee immediately told me that I could not order the $.99 sizes because and I quote, " our manager told us we cant sell the VALUE sizes...customers are trying to take advantage of this couopon offer..you'd have to order something larger.." I have ordered VALUE sizes before with no problem---the employeed was rude, and I did not want to delay my son any longer so I ordere something larger----but frankly your coupon states "ANY SIZE" = and that was waht I wanted(the $.99 prices)------so I am not happy with Burger King & I am strongly requesting some kind of incentive to me to make me return - that employeed and manager do not have the right attitude & are not offering what the customer's needs & requests-----send me something in the mail & I will not take this further. bad food
i always have loved whoppers. today i bought a regular whopper and a double whopper. i got home and took them out of the bag and handed my husband his double whopper, when we took off the paper they were wrapped in they were very flat and old looking and we took the top bun off and instead of shredded lettuce it was just parcial pieces of lettuce. the tomatoes that was on them were end pieces and had 2 on each whooper because they were so small. the onion was cut in long strips and wide. i ask for cheese and of course there was none on either whopper. i was very disappointed!!! i tried to call the store several times and no one answered. finally when they answered it was a young man and could barely hear him as it was so loud. when i ask for a manager a young girl came to the phone and i could barely hear her. when i started talking she hung up. i won't be going to that burger king anymore. i hope something will be done about this. thank you, debbie dixon

No change at drive thru
Over the past 6 months, the employees at the drive thru window of this Burger King has taken a habit of not giving change. They take your money, close the window, open window to hand you your order, then close the window. Today, I didn't move, so the employee stuck his head out of the window and asked what I needed. I told him, "my change would be nice." He looked puzzled, got another employee, and they both stared at the register screen. Then he said to me, "it doesn't come with soda." Are you kidding me? So I asked nicely again, "may I please have my change." I had to explain to BOTH of them how much my burger cost, how much I paid them, and how much they owe me. Then he acted all annoyed, as if I'm in the wrong. If this happened once or twice, I'd let it go. But this is a common occurrence at this location. District manager/owner: if you're reading, hire new people; because the ones you have now are crooks.

cleanliness
we went to go eat here on septemeber 15 and before I ordered I had to use the restroom and noticed it we not very clean. in fact it had not been propoliy cleaned in some time. then we ordered and we went to set and noticed most of the tables had not been wiped off. They were not very buisy they were playing in the back and having a good time and they need to be cleaning. this is the nastyest burger king I have ever been in in my life. I will not go there again.
