Burger King Reviews

service from begining to end is awful
Avoid this place at all cost. For the last couple of years this burger king has turned horrible. I used to go there every now and then but started to avoid any trips there because the wait is absolutley ridiculous (every time i ever went to the drive through there was 1 lady running between the 2 windows). I went there one day last week with hesitation because my husband wanted something there. I hadn't been there for many months but thought maybe things had changed since my last times of being there. It hadn't. I went inside to order the food to go (remembering the average wait time in the drive through with just 3 or 4 cars was around 20 min). The lady taking the orders was outright nasty to everyone-even rolling her eyes back if someone asked a question about the menu. There were only 2 people ordering ahead of me and it was still almost 10 minutes before i got my order in. Total time from start to finish...20 minutes just like always. Everyone was waiting forever...even the lady beside me commented on how if she were a manager she would clean house. After such a long time of this horrible service and attitude in this place i am wondering why nothing has been done. Bottom line...i have confirmed to myself that i need to continue avoiding this place in the future. As everyone else also needs to do. Unless you like rude people and ridiculous waits.

Salmonella
My coworker and I went to Burger King on 7-12-2010 and both of us got very sick. I am out my second day of work because of it. We had hamburgers and this Burger King didnt even cook the food fresh, which I have never seen before. They pulled it out of a prewarmed drawer like all the other food places do. When did Burger King start doing this?

Served a raw whopper, filthy restaurant, terrible service
Should be awarded "The Dirtiest Fast Food Restaurant on the East Coast."

Worst experience in a fast food restaurant ever! As a matter of fact it was so bad I will never step foot in a BK again. This place ruined it for me. Here is the order of mishaps. It's long...

1- No AC on July 11th
2- One cashier/order person. (slow one, too)
3- Filthy conditions. Didn't even want to touch anything in bathroom. Restaurant was no better, trash scattered all over the floor, counters, tables, etc. EVERY table was dirty!! Ketchup splattered on the doors, trash cans and front counter. Just plain nasty. (should have left after seeing that)
4-Waited in line for 20 min. to place order.
5-Took another 10 to get food.
6-Was served a raw Whopper (Yup, totally raw on one side)
7- After trying to return was given $1.45 back instead of price paid. Had to argue to get total amount back. Had to involve cashier & 2 mngrs. to get it straight. Took 15 MINUTES to get this straight with lots of arguing and trying to give me back the wrong amount again.
8- NO apology from cashier or Asst. mngr. Finally got an apology from mngr. after he overheard me saying "not even so much as an apology." He said "You're right mam, I apologize, give the woman back all her money. We're in the business of helping customers, not arguing with them. I've been up here 4 times and I have other customers. etc. etc. Just give her the money and move on." (Why he didn't tell them that to begin with or the asst. mngr couldn't have done that is beyond me)
He then said keep the other food on us. I told him I wouldn't dare to eat it and would be stopping somewhere else for food.
9- While I was trying to return the food I told the asst. mngr. how filthy the rest. was, how horrible the service was and how hot it was in there. He ignored me, completely. Didn't even respond. It was as if I wasn't even talking.

They simply do not care. This rest. should be shut down. It's gross. I've never seen a fast food rest. this dirty. And I've lived & traveled all over.

So to recap... I spent 45 min.(55 counting bathroom time) in this place and left after being argued with, ignored and treated like total dirt, only to have to find another place for food. (McDonalds-which took all which ended up being chips and sunflower seeds at a reststop since we were traveling and couldn't waste a bunch of more time)

Oh, yeah. I also ruined my shirt because I accidently leaned against the counter and noticed after we were down the road that the front of my shirt was covered with ketchup. Maybe the stains will come out, maybe not. But it is just ridiculous.

The WORST customer service experience I have ever had, by far. I'm tempted to make a web pg. dedicated totally to spreading the word. But who has the time? I just will give my business to other rest. who act like they give a crap.
No wonder why MCD's has taken over.
Customer service is important BK!!!
Have it your way???? NOT!!!
My way is cooked thoroughly, and in less than 20 minutes. (more than reasonable for FAST FOOD)

This was like a watching a 3 Stooges episode. The blind leading the blind. They had no idea how to do a return and needed 3 heads to figure it out and still had to be shown on the receipt how much we paid and have it spelled out to them how much we should get back. Which is totally ridiculous anyway. They should have offered me double my money back instead of half. So they risked losing many customers (via bad reviews and word of mouth) in order to save a couple bucks. I am a very loyal consumer and will go back and will spread the word if I get great service. However, on the other hand when I am treated like this I make a point of telling anyone and everyone who will listen. I mean, who likes wasting their money or eating rotten uncooked food? There were people behind me waiting to return food as well. I live near DC and the fast food places where are very clean and I have never received service like this.

I have also worked as a mystery shopper for restaurants and apartments and written many reviews. Any manager of a rest. should be aware those people are out there.

Called the consumer number on website. Sat on hold for 10 min then got a recording saying leave a message & they'll call you back. I'd be shocked if I get a call back.
There's a reason why there's no email address on the website. I'm sure they wouldn't be able to keep up with the complaint letters.

If they're going to offer brunch items, they should be available until noon
I've seen the commercials on tv advertising the new BK brunch menu which is available until 10:30am, same as breakfast. I feel, if they're going to offer brunch items, they should be available until noon.

Unhealthy bun choices
When are are the Fast Food companies going to arrive into the 21st Century with their choice of bread that their products are served on?

Our country's obesity problem is rampant. And yes many people and organizations blame the Fast Food companies. And those same Fast Food companies are indeed to blame for contributing to the obesity by not providing a Whole Wheat (or Whole Grain) alternative to the hamburger buns and muffins.

Someone needs to lead the Fast Food chains into the health wars and offer healthier choices such as Sweet Potato french fries and Whole Wheat hamburger buns.

Terrible and filthy place
While my friend and I were out shopping on Black Friday we decided to stop in at the Middletown, NY Burger King on Rte 211, store # 2071. The young person who took our order was very polite and professional. His name was Tyler.

While waiting for our order to be processed, I noted that during the time we stood waiting 3 drive up orders were filled for each patron standing at the counter.

The worse part was that when the order was finally placed on a tray there was not one clean table to sit at to enjoy it. We had to take our meals out to the car to eat in a clean environment.

If B.K.'s emphasis is going to be on drive-up service, then they should close the eat-in section and go back to car hops. Even the windows at this location were filthy.

The crowns were advertising a movie that is totally inappropriate for kids
Yesterday I took my 3 children to Burger King for lunch and to let them play as a treat for getting school done in a timely manner. Of course, crowns were set out at every table and as I waited for our order my kids (ages 4, 6 and 8) all went and got crowns. Man was I surprised when I sat down next to them only to discover the crowns were advertising a movie that is totally inappropriate for kids! Since my kids know nothing about this movie I did not take the crowns away, but truly feel that it is in very bad taste to use something like the crowns, that is primarily for your younger clientele, to promote a movie that is so blatantly inappropriate for that age group. I hope that your company uses better judgement in the future and we will not be going back to a BK until this promotion has ended.

Their employees do not know the difference between clean and dirty
What I saw at a Burger King the other day made me wonder who trains their employees to know the difference between clean and dirty when they possibly have never been shown or taught prior to the present job. I may have realized too late, but noticed that someone had placed two of the big floor mats from the lobby and hung them over the hand rails where customers wait in line!

poor service
I live 5 miles from the buger king in hadley ma. I drove there twice in one week, and both times they forgot something from my take out order. I went back to speek with the manager. She opoligized for the mistake and wrote my name in the managers book. She explained that I could return any time and recieve my order again at no charge. So I went in today to recieve the food. The girl at the counter acted very put out by my request. She called on the manager that was on duty to help me. She went into the back to retrieve the book. When she came back she asked when this happend, I replied last week so she went to get a different book. She came back and said my name was not there. Now there was a very big backup on the line waiting to order, this made me uncomfortable. The manager now said I was not in any book. I watched the previos week when the manager put my name and order in the book! This manager now asked what was your complaint? I explained that I did not want to have to relive it again I was just looking for what I was promised. Again she said you are not in any book so I can not help you. I was very embaressed at this point, because the entire restaurant was looking at me now, and I did not bring any money because I did't think I would need it. I had to at this point leeve and go home for money for lunch. I took that money to the place I will be going from now on Mcdonalds!!!

We really enjoyed the Angry Whopper commercial; however, this sandwich is not what it appears to be
We really enjoyed the Angry Whopper commercial; however, this sandwich is not what it appears to be. We looked forward to tasting one. Your commercial showed onions and hot peppers, but there we no onions and only 3 small pieces of pepper. This sandwich is not at all hot - it's not even warm. We may buy another Whopper, but not the Angry Whopper, unless you change your recipe.
