Think twice before applying at a burger king
I currently work at a Burger King in the U.P. and let me say that it has to be the most horrible job anyone can have. The store general manager is immature, cruel and unfair. She treats her employees like crap and talks about everyone behind their back. I have worked there since april 2008 and have only called in three times no being able to work. One time it was because my son was really sick and I didn't even get to stay home with him..i had to go in. The most recent time i called in (over two hours early) and said i couldnt work my two hour morning shift, i was hollered at, ridiculed and wrote up. If the jobs in my town weren't so scarce I would quit TODAY! Think twice before applying at a burger king.

bad service/wrong orders
numerous times I have gone to this BK and they CONTINUALLY get the order wrong and when I try to have the order corrected I get treated rudely and talked about negetively in spanish (which I understand)... it has gotten so bad that I have to check the order compleately before leaving the resteraunt!!! the main reason I continue to patronise this place is because of it's closeness to my home and work... but NO MORE!!! tonight they screwed my order up 3 TIMES!!! and still did not get it right! not to mention that the prep staff did not use gloves when remaking my order and the fact that they were in such a hurry to close the dining room that was the last straw!!! so if you live on Capital Hill in Denver Colorado avoid this store at all costs, go to Taco Bell across the street, or if u really need a Whopper, find a different location alltogether!!!

Not the first time, we have received cold food from this Burger King
My husband and I decided to treat ourselves with some food from Burger King in Eaton Rapids, MI. We ordered a Fish Sandwich meal, and a Whopper meal. Both sandwiches were cold. The french fries were cold as well. My fry order had "burned black" fries and onion rings mixed in with it. The fish sandwich was so "fishy" tasting that I ate only a portion of it. My husband was complaining about his sandwich as well. This is not the first time, we have received cold food from this Burger King. However, our latest purchase should not be the case, as they were very busy due to McDonalds being closed due to remodeling.

Fixing food without a gloves
Just have a concern, my husband and I went to your Burger King in Ellenton Fl Rte 301 We were giving our order to the counter person..Happened to notice one of the personnel fixing food orders..Did not have gloves on...I told the person at the register..She did go back and told the girl the people ordering fish sandwich would like her to put gloves on..Now I must say the other person fixing sandwiches did have gloves on. So she did prepare are sandwiches.. But the other person still continued to fix food without gloves...

FOOD UNDER COOKED
ON 4-30-2010 I ORDERED A HAMBURGER KIDS MEAL WITH FRIES AND A DR. PEPPER AND A WHOPPER JUNIOR WITH CHEESE WITHOUT KETCHUP AND ONIONS..(IT HAD BOTH ON IT)VALUE MEAL WITH A DR. PEPPER..BOTH OF THE BURGERS WERE UNDER COOKED AND NOT MADE THE WAY I ORDERED..THE FRIES WERE COLD AND HARD..MY PREVIOUS ORDER WAS ON 4-25-2010 I ORDERED A WHOPPER WITH CHEESE LARGE VALUE MEAL WITHOUT KETCHUP AND ONIONS (AND YET AGAIN IT HAD BOTH ON IT) AND THE BUNS WERE SO BURNT ON THE INSIDE THEY WERE BLACK IN COLOR AND MADE THE BURGER TASTE EVEN MORE AWFUL THE BURGER WASN'T FULLY COOKED IN THIS ORDER EITHER..I ALSO GOT A CHEESEBURGER KIDS MEAL WITH FRIES THE SAME UNDER COOKED BURGER AND COLD HARD FRIES..AND OF COURSE THERE WAS ONE OTHER ORDER OF ONLY A WHOPPER WITH CHEESE WITHOUT KETCHUP AND ONIONS..YET AGAIN IT HAD BOTH ON IT AND 2 CHICKEN TENDER/NUGGET KIDS MEALS WITH FRIES THE SAME THE FRIES WERE COLD AND HARD AND THE CHICKEN UNDER COOKED...I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS BURGER KING UNTIL SOMETHING IS DONE..I THINK THE ALL EMPLOYEES INCLUDING MANAGERS NEED FURTHER EVOLUATION OR SOMETHING..SOMEBODY ISN'T DOING THEIR JOB FOR THIS TO HAPPEN 3 TIMES IN LESS THAN 2 WEEKS..

Rude customer service
I was at Burger King today and they made all sorts of mistakes. First, I ordered and then was advised to "pull ahead for my total" - when I got to the window that girl was angry because she told me to "hold on for my total." When I said I was sorry and misunderstood her she just rolled her eyes and asked "was that sandwich on a muffin or roll."
After she finished my order - she took my money. When handing back the change she told me "I am short a penny - sorry." After this - she just closed the window and walked away. After returning with my order I told her I wanted all my change and if she was unable to give 4 cents - I would return the pennies and take a nickel. She told me - sir I cannot do that because my drawer would be short.
Since it was only a penny - and clearly she was going to fight for it - I just dropped that issue and asked her why I was charged for medium hash browns and coffee when I ordered large. She told me that medium is the largest size for those items. I looked at her with a funny look on my face, since it made NO sense, and she asked "anything else sir - there are people waiting."
After that experience - and the fact that two weeks prior I went to the same location to get a sausage muffin and they advised they were out of sausage at 8am. The manager then offered up blame on the cook rather than just apologizing for the error and trying to find me something that they could make. I think I will just us McDonalds when I have to get fast food - they are MUCH friendlier and seem to have concern for the customer experience. Plus, their food travels well where Burger Kind food is impossible to each while driving.

Poor Service
I drive alot and visit MANY fast food restaurants. One restaurant I visit on occasion usually cause I'm sick of everything else is Burger King. I have noticed at Every visit that their service is lacking and by the time I get the food it is usually COLD or is incorrect. How can we tell Burger King that they need to shape up...I mean come on - McDonalds can get people through the Drive through or at the counter WAY faster, make more food and has better service...BK is way behind the times. Today I stopped in to a local BK (Store 11440) and the gal at the window moved so slow that I wondered if I'd ever get my food...from opening the drive through window to getting my card, walking to the cc machine and then putting my card in the CC machine and getting the receipt and walking back to the window, opening the window and sloooowwwwlllllllyyyyyy giving my card back...I was appalled...I would have had this person fired for working like that. Then after waiting for another 5 minutes at the window this guy flies up to the window from inside and QUICKLY hands me my food and was polite and actually talked!!! - and I was like, wow, this guy should be the manager and they need about 10 more like him here...they could totally turn BK around...!! Anyway, I wanted to point out that this isn't the only Burger King I've been to and that they all could use some pointers in the Customer Service Deparment - so, my thing lately is that Free Whopper you can get my doing the survey, yeah, I actually do those and tell them their service sucks...so, come on guys, do the survey, get a free burger and tell them how their service really is.

While requesting(ordering A double for a buck) I was told they were now $1.29 with-in the last two days, I just watched an advertisement quating double for a buck? this happen at your Iowa, store drive-in window

My recent experience at Burger King was absolutely horrible
I typically don't complain but the recent experience my family and I had at the Columbus, WI restaurant was absolutely horrible! I called the number listed on their website on 10/2/09 and spoke to a representative and was told a district manager would call me back and I have yet to receive a call back some 19 days later?? I'm wondering if I will get a reply from the written letter? We just moved to our new home and this was our first visit to this BK. We decided to dine in. We waited 20 minutes for our food (chicken fries, whopper and an angus burger- all meals)While we waited we witnessed the staff arguing in front of customers the entire time, the manager on duty slammed her headset down on counter and walked away, the managers family stopped by and her children were hanging off the counters and were demanding her attention while she had customers. After she gave them cookies and soda cups they still were quite rowdy. I understand having a family and working...we are a working family also but there are appropriate times to have them visit you at work 6:45 at a restaurant probably isnt a good idea Probably wouldnt have bothered me so much if she was paying attention to what was going on at her job. it was very obvious i was upset after about 10 minutes and yet she offered no explanations or any compensation fro our wait. There were many drive-thru's and customers that came in after us and left befoer we got our food. On top of all of this the first cashier that took our order said "oh, the angus burger isn't that great, i don't think". Well unfortunately she was right. Still probably not something you want your employees saying! Our food was lukewarm at best...should've been piping hot after 20 minutes!!! We ended up taking our food to go. My kids love your menu but unfortunately I don't think we will be going back to this restaurant! A good manager would've apologized and done some sort of damage control instead of blaming it on what my husband ordered. For what we paid and for a 20 minute wait we could've dined at a "sit-down" restaurant. Your cashier also complained quite a bit that she had to take an order out to a car because it was raining I know there are a lot of people looking for jobs right now...first impressions are sometimes all you get hope my experience was an isolated one for them!
