Burger King Reviews

service and swearing
I was at the BK on Tower St. in Waterloo, IA a few minutes before 3:00, on Mon. Jan 4, 2010. As I was ordering the food, at the drive-up, the employee taking the order was rude. At one point I couldn't hear her, told her so, and she yelled her question at me. When I pulled up to the window, she said something to another employee about how something was really "f---ing" bothering her, and then she shoved my order at me. I usually have children in my car and would have found it really offensive if I had. But I found it disgusting anyway. I took the food to my Mother's house. She is housebound and enjoys the grilled chicken sandwich - I buy it for her several times a week. The order was screwed up big time. I asked for no onions on the Whopper Jr - there were onions on it. I ordered onion rings - I got french fries. This isn't usually how it plays out when I go there, and I know the employee was not someone new. I guess I will have to go to a Burger King that is really inconvenient next time, or maybe I'll interest my Mother in a sandwich somewhere else.
ALSO - another complaint which has make me more upset than the first one. I have been on the internet for quite some time now and cannot find how to make a complaint DIRECTLY to Burger King. What a racket. Mc Donald's is sounding better and better.
Yours truly, but maybe not for long,

Rude employee
The store has the rudest female employee (no name tag, red polo shirt) who likes to yell at customers and very unfriendly. I came to pick up food at drive thru window and the order she rang up was totally wrong. When I said nicely that I did not order like that, she yelled and called me a liar! She sure needs to be trained how to speak to customers first. That is an unacceptable attitude. No respect and no courtesy. I definitely will not come back to this store.

rudeness & old food
went into the restaurant at 5:17 pm on saturday 1/2/2010 with my family, we all ordered food, & I ordered a whopper meal with cheese for myself, well we went to sit down& there were no clean tables! cleaned it myself with napkins, then got the food, & mine looked like it had been run over by a truck, it had no cheese so I took it back to the counter & told the girl, she looked at me like I was crazy, then the two african american cooks were saying all kinds of crazy comments about me returning the burger, the manager took the burger & asked me if I wanted her to put cheese on it, I said yes I only wanted what I had already paid for. I took it back to the table & opened it up & it had tomatoes that were mush & the onions were so old they were clear, the bun was mushy & flat, well I decided I was no longer hungry for the whopper that I was craving, I took it back to the counter & told the manager I wanted a refund because the food was old, well then the 2 so called cooks in the back really started heckling then, the manager said I would need to sign the ticket & I told her that I didn't want the cooks to get my name because quite frankly I was scared that they might try to do something to me or my family. When we started to leave one of the cooks came up front & was staring & looking at us crazy, I will never be back !!! I suggest that you do something about your employees, or close this store!!! I really hope that you care enough to read this comment because if burger king is run the right way the food is great!

Refuse to take order
My Name:

John Taylor
163 Coulee Lanoire Rd.
Arnaudville, La. 70512

I am associated with a Beagle Club in the Crowley area. When we host events, usually once or twice a month we will order food from the Crowley Burger King, Sometimes several orders. Today on December 31st. 2009, a friend and I stopped by the drive thru and waited about 20 minutes before it was our turn to give our orders. The cashier, or order taker told us to wait a minute and she would be with us, no problem so far. When she came to take our orders I told her we had two separate orders and she stated she would not take separate orders, she could only take one order. Reason for the separate orders was because of payment method. We drove off since we were refused our orders. At this time I do not plan on ever eating at a Burger King. In the past we have enjoyed eating there or buying carry out, but when I am told I cannot give two orders because they are to busy to prepare two orders it doesn't ring the bell right in my head. What happened to customer is always right and the slogan have it your way????????????????

I do expect someone to give me a call on this situation, my number is 337-945-3545. Name: John Taylor, Email: JohnRayTaylor1@ aol.com

The person with me on this day is Michael Gerace, he would like a call also and his number is: 337-945-331-1969, Email: [email protected]

He can verify every word I said, I was in wholesale and retail sales all my working life and was never in a position where I could refuse an honest customer willing to pay.

cheap labor customer service
The morning shift is from hell!
Besides having a face of nasty criminals, you hardly understand what the order takers say, (their English is from another planet!)
They rudely keep asking "anything else?" while you're placing the order then they give you 1 or 2 ketchups and 1 napkin either dining in or out and if you ask for more they charge you .25cts each (they haven’t overcome the misery in which they lived back in their countries)

I understand these people are uneducated and get paid real cheap wages, but they represent Burger King, and what comes out to, is that Burger King is disrespecting its customers by not training these people on customer service techniques. Just because you’re getting a cheap bite to eat does not mean that you will be treated nasty.

Unpleasant situation
8/2/08 around 2pm I went to the Burger King located on New Haven Blvd that I have been going to twice a week for the better part of 4 years. I was in the drive-thru with my two kids. I ordered my two meals(Chicken Tender Big Kids meal w/ Sprite and a Chicken Fingers Meal w/ Sprite) and proceeded to the window. When I got to the window, I had to explain what the drinks were again. Then I was questioned as to what I had ordered. I explained that I did not order 2 double whopper meals and was looked at and smirked at like I changed my order from the time I ordered at the speaker to the time I got to the window. I had given the girl a $20 and received a $5 bill and some coins for change for an order that was $8.58. When the manager came to straighten out the situation she told me I owed them the $8.58. I still had the $5 and change in my hand hanging outside my truck window. The manager asked me what this money was, I told her this was my change I received for my order from a $20. She then snatched the money from my hand and was huffing under her breath. I did not appreciate the attitude I received since I did not do a damn thing wrong! When I asked why I was getting attitude she said something I couldn't understand. When I told her I come here all the time and I would not be back, she just snickered again and said something else I couldn't make out. What a P.O.S. company. No complaint tab on their website? Lucky for me a new Firehouse Subs just opened up closer to my house than the Burger Douche!

Very upsetting service
Burger King located in Port Arthur Texas needs to improve their service. There are only a couple of Burger Kings within 30 miles of my home, but this Burger King consistently has poor service. The people hired to work there seem to be mentally challenged, but most mentally challenged people are nice. These workers are rude. They rarely get the orders right. They take the money for a drive up order, then tell you to pull up where you wait for a long time. We ask for sweet and sour sauce for our chicken tenders, they do not bring it with our order, but I have to holler from my window because he is trying to get away from me so fast, to ask him to bring me some sweet and sour sauce, he returns with just a couple even though we had a larger order of 3 and had requested extra sauces. When I asked him for more, he said rudely I brought you more! This was the first we had! He did not bring me any more so my daughter had to go in and get some more. We love the food at Burger King, but we always get so mad at the service. Of all the fast food places, the Port Arthur Burger King has the worse employees who you can't understand when they talk and they are so rude, and they always get something wrong with the order! Most upsetting!

stole money and very rude
I pull up to the drive up and the guy in front of me(after placing his order)leaves. The woman in the speaker says "dammm girl i couldnt understand a thing he said -she says "sir was your order this and mumbles out a few things and i say ma', am he left. she says some nasty things i will not repeat then after about 3 mins of wiating says sir whats your order-not may i take your order. so i say yes i would like 4 double cheeseburgers with bacon on your special for $6. takes about 8 mins then get to window and i hand her my last $20. this man comes walking up and she starts talking to him and says he cant order food walking up. i notice that she has $3 and some change in her hand and quickly tell her i gave her a $20. she says sir "you did not give me a $20 you gave me a $10. I am 100% certain of this because it was my last money and i dont get paid till friday. i tell her politely that she is incorrect and to check her drawer again that i am sure it was a $20. she again without even looking tells me this is not possible. ok she did not give me a receipt with my meal and told her that i would call the police if my money was not given to me and her response was "go ahead and call the police shiiiit i dont care" the manager comes over and tells me i need to pull forward so teh people behind me can get there food(so i have to wait)that she needs to count her drawer. after waiting for 10 mins waisting prob $5 in gas i pull back and ask what is going on? she said right away (without even looking at the drawer)sir her drawer checks ok. I assured her this was impossible. i then asked for a buisness card so i can call someone to get the money back that was stolen from me. This was theft -plain and simple. she then gave me a receipt cause she had no buisness cards and circles the number on it. i said so what can i do to get my money back and she had no answer but, to tell me to call the number. if i wasnt sure if it was a $10 or $20 i would never have made an issue of it. but, i am certain of this fact. this is the worst service ever by any restaurant i have ever been to. i was treated very poorly and was robbed. there was no effort at all to help the situation. i got back home and 2 of the burgers didnt have bacon and 2 were ok. this was at 1130 pm on saturday night 12/26. the guy in front of me left i assume because he was treated poorly as well. i can only wonder how many more people have been robbed and didnt recieve there orders correctly. i use to frequent this restaurant when i was younger with my grandma and the people were freindly and nice. what happened ? why is every employee there black? why can i never eat there again? why is burger king letting these people ruin there image? i am sure that they have lost at least 50-75% of these buisness because of this. iin hard economic times this is worse than traggic. i am not predjuice, my brothers girlfriend is black and we are good friends. what i saw tonight is a shame and all i can hope is that someone will read this and realize that this is true. YOUR COMPANY is FAILING because of racist, uneducated people running your restaurants . if you want to stay competitive in these hard times you will get rid of these people. dont fire them (cause then they can ruin the system by collecting undeserved unemployment)but, cut back there hours to like 10 hours a week till they quit. otherwise i am sad to say you have lost a customer for life. I have been eating there for 20 years and now that is over. if you want me back, and not to file a report for theft with the bbb then i will hear some answer and soon.

EXTREMELY unhappy customer and victim of theft from burger king employee.

Bad Manager Needs to Be Fired!
In Salida we stopped a week before Xmas of 2009 and the manager there was yelling at her employee in front of all the clients there and was negatively putting her down that she was no good and it was so bad I wanted to cry for the employee that was only trying to do her best. Carol is the manager and she needs to be fired I saw her yell at her twice while I was there and no manager no any person should ever been spoken to in that matter never! She was treating her as if she was a dog! In this economy there should be much qualified people knocking at that door who would love that job in a heartbeat who would treat their employees with due respect. FIRE Carol the manager at the Salida Burger King!
