Ridiculous appalling place
We were pulling through a smallish town called East Wenatchee in Washington state during a road trip to the Gorge for a show. Stopped at the Grant's Road Burger King on a Saturday a.m. at around 7 a.m.
I walked in and the mats for the floor were up on the railings inside, there was NO ONE at the counter and the woman I could see in back who was pulling out boxes of food didn't even acknowledge me. I asked her if they were open yet and she said yes and called something out in Spanish to a guy I could not see who responded with only a GRUNT and did NOT come out to take my order. The place was COLD and clearly not open yet.
The breakfast menu wasn't up on the boards either. I stood for at least two more minutes with money in my hand and everyone in the car waiting for me and NO ONE came to take my order. I called into the back again to ask if someone would take my order or not and the jerk in back grunted again but did not make a move to come to the front.
What a RIDICULOUS appalling place this was! Shame on you!!
We went to McDonald's where we paid twice as much for food that is half as good as Burger King but I had my order taken within one minute and my food (even with a few special orders of breakfast sandwiches minus the meat) were in my hands within three minutes tops.

poor service and poor food quality of what we did get
My husband went to Burger King to get the family supper. When he got home, our son's kid's meal was not in the bag and the food that we did get was smashed and looked like dog food. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager about the situation and she kind of laughed and said we have your son's kid's meal right here. The only problem with that is that we live abou 20 miles from the store. This is not the first time that this has happened. I can assure you that we will nt be eating at that restaurant again and if asked I will let people that I know about the service that we have continued or should I say the service that we continue not to get.

Terrible Service
Today, 12/16/09, I went through the drive-thru at the Burger King in Lewisville. It's pretty dirty looking and I rarely go to that one. Got home and my order was screwed up - I ordered a large onion rings and the onion rings didn't even reach the top of the container. I also ordered a couple of whoper jr's - the lettuce on the burgers loked like it was two weeks old. They also gave me some sort of nasty chicken sandwich with jalopeno's on it. I'm thinking one of the Mexican workers there made that for himself and accidentally gave it to me instead of one of my burgers because it was covered with jalopenos. Reardless, I did't get what I ordered. When I discovered that they messed up my order, I called the phone number on the receipt for the restaurant. All I get when I try to call it is a fax tone. I've tried several times and I always get a fax tone. Here, you try it: 972-436-1700. I called the BK corporate office in Miami, FL and I was put on hold forever... okay, 15 minutes. Then I hung up and called back and told the lady I want to talk to somone and she put my into a voice mail box to leave a message. Burger King SUCKS. I may never go to another one, and I'll NEVER go to the one in Lewisville, TX again.

Disgusting place
My children and I have frequented the Burger King on Mt. Rose Ave. in York, Pa for some time. However, after today, it will never happen again. This establishment is well known for its slow service, and I was even spoken to very rudely in the drive-thru one time, but I still seem to give it the benefit of the doubt. That will never happen again.
Today, April 19, 2007, at approximately 6:00 pm, my children and I ordered our dinner. We were in line behind four other customers. As we all waited (which is common), we were treated to a show by the employees. The girl running the drive-thru window thought it would be appropriate to yell "SHUT UP" at an employee in the back. She also decided to dance around and tell everyone that she had only one more hour of work.
A male employee in the back (but in full sight of every customer)cozied up to a female employee placing his hands on her waist/hips and his face very close to hers (kissing???).
Another male employee in the back felt the need to yell that he wanted to go home. And finally, on the way out, one of the female employees was sitting ON TOP OF THE COUNTER WHERE FOOD IS SERVED. I was disgusted!
This place employs the biggest bunch of whiners I have ever seen in my life. There is no semblance of professionalism or customer service at any time. The employee who took our order was very nice and appeared to be one of two people actually working. Unfortunately, this is not enough to keep me coming back.
And now I find out that its like pulling teeth to actually make a complaint to this place. I think I have been turned off Burger King permanently.

terrible hamburger
I have never had one of your hamburgers, but my friends have and have enjoyed them. I ordered 2 "original Whoppers" not knowing that I had to tell the counter person exactly WHAT I wanted on them. I guess I thought it would come with ketchup, mayo, mustard, tomato, lettuce and onion. I did not get ANY mayo, ANY mustard, ANY ketchup, 1 piece of wilted lettuce, 1 slice of terrible tasting tomato and 2 small slivers of onion. That to me is not a good hamburger. I do not want to come back to that restaurant, let alone any others. You have lost a customer for life.

Are Customers expendable at Burger King
If you care about your customers!
I go to Burger King once or twice a week with my child and wife.
This past Saturday I went to the store 407, at 3629 Forest Lane. Dallas, TX. The Cashier was in a terrible mood already.
She did not greet my wife or me and just gave a blank stare. I ignored that and just placed my order. She took the order rather rudely and instead of giving me the receipt; choose to throw it on the counter.
I didnt do anything to provoke this behavior but I didnt say anything... just didnt take the receipt.
At this point she said rather loudly told her manager that "They guy didnt take the receipt, I am not gonna serve his a**".
That was more than any self-respecting man can take, so I jumped in the conversation and clarified to the manager her behavior and how she threw the receipt on the counter. The manager did not say anything at all. Wonderful customer service...
After that I stood there to make sure they didnt spit in my food. After collecting my food I went back and was quietly discussing the extremely unprofessional behavior with my wife. At this point the server had the audacity to come to all the tables (except ours) and loudly talk to them that they are how customers should be.
I ignored the rather insulting situation and proceeded to talk to the manager.
When i asked manager about formal complaint procedure, she just ignored ...almost indicating that she didnt understand English well enough.
I had gone there to have some a family outing and lunch instead we got a heavy dose of insult... FOR WHAT!!!
If this is how customers are treated at your place, I am want to step my foot again in your chain.
I called the (972) 241-5558 number and the lady disconnected without hearing my complaint. I felt so helpless and weak ... there is nothing that one can do when the manager and employee get together and decide to treat customer as dirt.
I am hoping you guys would be able to help. If not, i would post on numerous blogs, consumer forums and anybody else who would lend ears to this Insulting story.
Here are details from my receipt

Will never go back to Burger King again
My husband and I went to get my son dinner from Burger King on Valentines Day. I had forgot that this particular Burger King doesn't have great customer service and are usually pretty slow, until we were sitting in the drive thru.
We decided to stick it out and go ahead and order. When we got up to order, the guy was mumbling our order back to us incorrectly over the speaker. I had to ask him to repeat himself twice. By the time we finally got to the pick up window (which the same window was taking money and giving out food) it had been 20 minutes which is really outrageous. I paid in cash and when the guy gave me back my change, he knocked my hand and dropped some of the change on the ground. He didn't acknowledge that anything had happened, so when he came back near us my husband said "you know you knocked some of her change on the ground, don't you? and the guy said "oh, sorry" and walked away.
Meanwhile the lady in line in front of us, had pulled up past the window like she was waiting for her order. We watched her get out of her car with a bag she had just been given, and walk into the store with it. I thought they must have screwed up her order. This girl that worked in Burger King came up to the window and said she was going to give us our money back. I said what for? She said, because he accidently gave your food away to the girl in front of you and it is going to take a full 4 minutes to make your order. So here's your money back. Like just leave, we're busy. I looked at her, and said I didn't wait in this line for 30 minutes to leave without my order I want my food.
So she looked at me like I was crazy and left to drop the order I guess. Meanwhile a few seconds after that our guy at the drive thru hands me the bag of food that the lady just walked in from her car that he had given her by mistake! Can you believe this? My husband told him, we just watched that lady walk this bag of food in, and we don't want that. I told him I thought it was against the law to do that, and I was pretty sure the health department would have a problem with it as well, and we wanted our food fresh! He too looked at us like we were ridiculous and walked away. A few minutes later they thrust a bag of food in my hand and just looked at me. I gave them back the other bag and we left.
Now the icing on the cake, is that my son wasn't with us when we went through this ordeal. I brought the food home to him and gave it to him to eat in his room. A few minutes later he comes out and says, I don't know what they did to this chicken but I can't eat it, and I'm pretty mad about it. I told him not to eat it, for fear of what they did to it!
We will never go back to Burger King again. We reported them to the health department the following day for passing food out the window to one customer, taking it back in over the counter and passing it back through the window to another customer! Hopefully something will happen over that!

Poor and untimely service
Frequently each morning before work, I try to grab a "fast food" meal. Around the corner from my job is a McDonald's and a Burger King. I usually grab McDonald's despite the long line every morning. This past month I decided to try Burger King (#11974) to try their new Hamelette sandwich. There was only one other vehicle before me in the drive-thru so I figured this should be a quick experience. Not the case! I waited over 15 minutes from the time they took my order to pick up (I never waited over 5 mins at McDonald's even with a line of 10!). What made me angry is that the staff was rude and did not even say a simple "sorry for the wait" nor a "your welcome" when I said thank you. I decided to give Burger King another try a few days later. To my dismay, I received the same experience all over again! I tried calling the customer service number they had on the window, it turned out to be a number to a homosexual hot line! I tried the survey number on the back of the receipt, it was another frustrating ordeal and did not work right. I tried visiting the Burger King website and was unable to find an appropriate number for my complaint. I am very frustrated with this whole experience, so I decided to post my complaints everywhere that I may, so hopefully my complaint may be addressed by someone within the company. I won't hold my breath!

Simply terrible
I usually don't take the time to complain about ANYTHING, but I have to give my opinion on the latest string of Burger King commercials. In a world of parents killing their children, children going to school and blowing away everyone they can, children using guns they find at home and killing a sibling, and multitude of people resolving their disagreements with deadly violence, the last thing we need is a burger chain depicting moms solving their beef against the "King" by cutting his breakline or running him over. It would be one thing if the moms were taking the "king" to court or just having an old fashioned coffe clutch where they bad mouthed the "King". But to suggest to our youths that the best way to solve their problem with the "King" is to KILL him is down right disturbing. I mentioned to some of my family members that I was upset with the recent commercials that Burger King produced. They immediately said, "Yeah, I don't like the violence that they portray. It disturbs me !" I hadn't even mentioned the particular commercial I was talking about yet! You need to IMMEDIATELY pull these commercials. They are a bad influence on our youths and many parents (if they have an once of intelligence) will stop buying their burgers from you!! There are just too many other "burger places" from which to purchase their fast food. What happened to; two all beef paddies, special sauce, lettus, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun?! I've been a Burger King customer for about 30 years, but I have doubts that this will continue if you have no concern over what you "feed" our youths!!

Terrible advertisement
Commercial sunk so low I will not patronize Burger King again until an apology is made to the public and especially to the children. The message it sends to run down someone in an automobile over something like that is stupid and is in very bad taste. What were they thinking? The commercial stinks and is low life and especially demeaning to people who have children. Forget me, I'll eat the rot gut hamburgers from McDonalds or Wendys' or better yet, make my own. I like a lot of commercials and they work but this one ruined Burger King for me.
