2. RE-SCHEDULE OR EXTENSION OF JOINING DATE.

Job applicants MUST meet and submit all Visa requirements to the Clifford Chambers before any request for re-schedule or extension of joining date can be granted. Applicants MUST note that we will never grant such requests unless all Visa formalities MUST have been met.

Applicants who do not require Visa to enter the U.K MUST submit their Flight ticket fees to the British Immigration Service for the booking and purchase of their flight from London city.
Applicants are to note that meeting all Visa requirements of the Clifford Chambers guarantees Burger King Limited of applicant's seriousness and commitment to work for us.

3. APPLYING DIRECTLY TO THE U.K EMBASSIES WORLD-WIDE

It has come to our notice that most applicants prefer to apply directly to the U.K Embassies in their various locations and when they make applications, their Visas are usually denied especially Job applicants from Africa, Asia and the Middle East. When such visa applications are denied, it takes approximately 90 days to re-apply or make a second application and during this time, the Company will not be patient or wait for such an applicant, we usually revoke their offers immediately and recruit some other applicants.

Hence, to ensure that you pass through a hassle free Visa application process to the U.K, We have affiliated with the Local Immigration & Visa office here in London, the Clifford Chambers. They will assist you with the Visa application, processing of U.K Work permit and other relevant Insurance and Travel packages that will be required for your legal entry into the United Kingdom.

Making an application with the Clifford Chambers guarantees your Visa approval and in a lesser time as compared with applications made directly to the U.K Embassies. Once they get all your necessary papers processed, they will fax copies of the same to the U.K Embassy in applicants Country of location and such an applicant will be prompted on when to visit the embassy with his/ her passport for the Visa stamp.
This is the easiest process for International employees to meet up with Migration Formalities and join us as soon as possible.

4. IMMIGRATION EXPENSES, FLIGHT TICKETS & OTHER EXPENSES

Job applicants MUST bear costs for their Immigration expenses and submit receipts of payment(s) for the purpose of reimbursement. For no reason should Job applicants request that we shoulder such costs as such requests will certainly be turned down.

This is sequel to our past experiences we had with some Job applicants from Africa, Asia and the Middle East where Burger King shouldered all their Immigration expenses, paid them their Upfront Salaries and till this time, None of these applicants showed up. The contact numbers and emails they submitted are out of use at this time, we are currently battling this case with their various embassies in London and the case is on hearing at the London City Crown Court.

For this reason, the Management Board revised her International Recruitment Policies which entails that all Job applicants MUST bear all travel costs and on arrival to London, present receipts of payments made and will be reimbursed accordingly. Any applicant who finds this unbearable should forfeit this opportunity immediately.

5. RE-IMBURSEMENT OF IMMIGRATION EXPENSES, HEALTH CHECKUP & OTHER EXPENSES

All expenses made by Job applicants will be fully reimbursed on arrival to London or if applicants meet all Immigration requirements, we will send the Salary & Reimbursement application Forms for applicants to complete and return to our Accounts department for approval. Once approved, we will authorize our Bank to transfer funds to any Bank Account designated by such an applicant.

6. JOB DESCRIPTION, HOTEL ACCOMMODATION AND FEEDING

All details pertinent to this Job Offer, duties and responsibilities will be made available to applicants on arrival to London for the Orientation/ Training Program.

Filthy restaurant
This complaint is about Burger King. I had gone to shop with my sister. After we finished shopping we decided to go to Burger King to have our lunch. We experienced the worst service ever there and that really made me upset. There were only two employees. One was busy in some thing else. The one who was serving took more than ten minutes to recognize that we were in there. I found this very strange coz we were standing right in front him. The other guy was just clearing the trash. After some time that other guy was no where to be seen. Later many more people came into the restaurant and looking at this the waiter started to get angry. I never came across such a filthy restaurant. I am sure he was overwhelmed coz he was the only guy there and he would be the only one to wait on all of them. Later when I looked around the store there were so many tables filled with trash. I wish I had never gone to this location of Burger King this was the first time I ever had such a bad experience with Burger King.

Waste of money
The chicken garden salad was rotten! Meat was over cooked and the lettuce was sour. The smell wasn't right and after one bite I threw it in the trash! It was "to go" so I wasted $5.13. I can't believe Burger King would sell nasty food like this salad.

Poor food quality
On August 12-2009 I visited this store and ordered chicken tenders total price $2.71.The tenders
were horribly. After arriving at home I discovered
they were 8 little hard pieces of chicken(no napkins, no sauce no nothing) I had recently stopped a burger
store and ordered the same for $2.17 with a choice
of sauce, and ketchup. the first stop which was
the reason for me going back to the sandwich place
only to receive the poor quality tenders with no
sauce, poor food and all.It is the principle of the
problem that bothers me.

Drive thru does not speak english
I went through the drive thru at Burger King in Eagle Pass and gave my order in English. My spanish isn't the greatest, but I was thinking hey this is the United States even though it is a border town. Next thing I know the girl at the drive thru is speaking to me in Spanish. What the hell? I should feel bad because you don't know how to speak English in the United States? I know that Eagle Pass is a small town and that lots of the jobs are given based on "who you know" rather that what your qualifications truly are. Can the manager not hire people from Mexico based on "special relationships" that can not do their jobs? Can they at least hire people at the drive thru that speak English, and not treat people like dirt for not knowing Spanish?

Bad Drive Thru Service
Don't ever go there, they steal your money and provide a bad customer service, I tell you because it happened to me. My husband is a Soldier and we went there for lunch (through drive-thru) we waited 15 minutes for the food, which was only 1 meal (the steak burger) and it never came. I called and they were going to "find out" what was going on with my order but no one ever came out with anything. I called a second time and a man told me that he did not know what I had ordered and if I wanted my order to go inside. I think it's stupid to go through drive-thru and have to wait that long for the food. My husband decided to leave because he was short on time so we lost around $8.03. What I'm mad about the most is that he didn't get to eat at all because he didn't have time to go anywhere else.

Poor Service
I will try to make it short.

Used the Drive Thru.

Ordered a Large #1(Whopper Value Meal) with a Sprite, and a 4 pc. chicken tender w/no sauce.

After paying for food, I was asked to pull forward and wait, as always. Typically this is not a huge concern of mine. After all, it is just fast food.

Employee named Jenn who asked me to pull forward, then proceeded to take a 5 minute cigarette break where I watched her smoke 2 cigarettes. I am still waiting. She tells me I am waiting for fries. Maybe it is just me, but are fries not most likely there #1 item on the menu that should always be readily available. None the less, it is still just fast food, I should relax.

After waiting a few more minutes I begin to wonder. I then watch Jenn finish her break and proceed to go back into her workplace. I had a strange feeling no one knew I was outside waiting for food, and that Jenn might just feel free to go and touch someone else's food without washing her cigarette smoke infested hands. She should remember, that is her disgusting habit, not mine.

As it turns out, I was right.

I get out of my car after almost 12 minutes of waiting, enter the restaurant, and watch as Jenn starts grabbing other customer's food, and placing it in their bags. I immediately grab someone, explain I want my money back and I am no longer hungry. Response from cook... "Are you waiting for something?" Of course my response was that I was waiting for something, now I am waiting for something different, just waiting for my money back.

This situation was going no where good, anytime soon. As I am again just waiting for someone to refund me my 8 dollars, another customer comes up who only received a Whopper, where he wanted a Double Whopper.

All associates at this point are non-responsive, completely comatose, and absolutely unwilling to help me rsolve my simple issue. I finally have no choice but to ask the Managers name. I let Jenn know that she can keep my money, keep their food, and that I will be back at a later date when someone has the opportunity to take care of me.

This is not the first time here, but it will be the last. Very unfortunate that a few ignorant, lazy individuals, can make me take more of my time, to complain about them, when ultimately nothing is going to get done anyway.

Hopeless,
Ian Fleury

Awful commercial
The most recent Burger King commercial showing a young "prince" kicking his father(King) as a greeting is yet another deplorable role model for our already violence inundated children and I will not patronize this business until this commercial is taken off the air.
Dominic July 30, 2009
Off my list
I ordered 2 Woopers at the drve through window the cashier told me to pull over and someone would bring the order to the car. I waited 15 mins. no one showed up. I call them from my cell phone in the car, they came out the store with an attitude like I was bothering them. What IS WRONG WITH THAT PICTURE? BurgerKing is off my list now.
