Mean Maneger
I went to the drive through at the Mandan, Nd Burger King at 9:45, About 9:55-10:00 I made a coment that(This is mess- ed up I think we sould get a free meal) Then all of a sudden this lady gets on the intercom and says missy I can hear you and no you souldnt get a free meal because are cook is not in here right now so I had to cook all the orders, witch no one eles was there, then she said if you dont like it dont come back here and eat I think that lady should get fiered.!!!
I think the right way she should of handeled that situation she sould of made it clear that there was going to be a wait, And souldnt there be more then two people working?

Horrible Employees
It is very very rare to receive all your food at our Burger King. 1/10 times you will have a correct order. So of course the other day, I had to run in to get the rest of my order. So Im standing in the middle of the counter with no one else in the restaurant and get completely ignored. I even had the girl who waited on me at the drive-thru making iced coffee directly in front of my face - didnt even look at me. Then she goes 5 feet down the counter to get the peoples order that are standing there. At thiss point, Im pretty mad so I had to call someone over to me. Of course they didnt apologize or say a word to me. While Im waiting I see the employees wearing their gloves which is great, except for the fact that they were making customers food and also putting food in their mouths at the same time. It was 3 of about 6 employees working. Ive managed restaurants and know that is unacceptable. I hope the company gets to read this. We will NOT be going here anytime soon and your phone survey never gives you a chance to give your complaint.

Filthy / dirty worker
I ordered my food at the drive thru window in New Richmond Wis...I paid for it. The guy who rang up the order had apparently been working on a car...his fingernails & cuticles were filthy black, also the top of his hands were all black dirty car grease. When he brought my order I seen his shirt had a large hole in it / his face was greasy dirty from apparently working on a vehicle. I was speechless... I tossed my food into the garbage.

I called the manager at Burger King when I arrived home. She stated this guy was just running the register & not touching the food & she'd take care of it. Well whoopee do! I'll never go into a Burger King again & will also tell everyone that I know about the nasty filthy person who did touch my food by putting it into the bag / I seen him.

How dare Burger King market commercials primarily to children showing graphic images of women with their butts along with the song takeoff, of "I like big butts...


Another one that is just a objectionable is the parody of Star Trek, where Burger King is pulling one of the "Kling-ons" nipples.

Who is making and passing on these commercials, is there no innocence anymore. Who do you thing you are marketing to? I don't have any grandchildren and I am not interested in buying from Burger King!!

Burger King's advertising has crossed the line of decentcy. It is extremely inappropriate for children. Referring to "bootie" and "nipples" and other such things is in such bad taste that I consider myself a former customer. Burger King has lost my business forever. Linda Cristea [email protected]

NASTY EMPLOYEE & LOUSY MANAGER
BURGER KING STORE # 2884 EMPLOYEE ACTUALLY SAID TO US: "YA'LL TAKE UR ASSES OUTTA HERE !!!

On April 28, 2009 around 7PM, I took my wife and my 15 year old daughter to Burger King located at 5025 Stateline Avenue in Texarkana, TX (Store #2884) and what an insulting experience that was! It felt like they were doing a favour to us for dining there..

We were eating and a female employee started spraying and cleaning tables around us. She was dragging alluminium chairs making such a loud and harsh noise and then throwing them on top of tables. It was really unbearable. I got an important call on my cell phone but could not hear anything due to the horrible noise. The girl looks at me and knws that I was on the phone but didn't care at all to even pause for a moment and just kept banging chairs! I even told her to quiet down a little and boy.. oh.. boy..., she got so mad at me and started mouthing off. She got down right nasty and said to us: " Ya'll need to take ur Asses outa here..."! My wife and my daughter were stunned! And that was not the worst part, the manager was standing behind the counter and was watching the whole incident and could not get her to stop yelling at us and talking to his customers like that. She even yelled at him! Any one with "Customer Service 101" skills would have FIRED such an unprofessional employee on the SPOT. Not only he could not stop her, he DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE TO US as we were leaving.
I told him that I was going to complain to Customer Service and I did. That too turned out to be another JOKE !! They said they will forward my complaint to the district manager but to-date, even after almost a month, I have not heard from anyone back regarding my complaint. THEY SIMPLY DO NOT SEEN TO GIVE A DAMN !!

They made a lifelong Mc Donald's patron out of me !!! What a contrast in service between the two !!!

Application/Questionaire
I applied for a team member position at this location twice online. The following morning I received an email from the corporate office I believe and was recommended to apply for a management position at this paticular location and so I did. I contacted the manager later on that evening to inform him of my resume and application. He instructed me to resubmit an application on "jointeambk.com" by which i did for the third time. The following day, this very same manager contacted me and stated that i scored to high on the questionaire and that no one could possibly score in that fashion unless they were lying and he clearly stated that I was lying. He also mentioned that I scored an 87% and that I needed to score less than an 85%. I communicated to this manager that my previous background clearly states that my positions held were managerial and that is the only way I know to answer questions as such b/c I too have managed businesses and was successful at providing excellent customer service and my staff was more than productive due to their drive and ambition and for the simple fact of my leadership and motivational skills. I have a love for people and a desire for myself and them to be successful. I want it to be known that my integrity, intelligence, work ethic and expertise was insulted. I have no need to lie about myself and what I represent. I don't feel anyone should be spoken to in that fashion, nor do you call some one a liar especially one that could have been a potential employee and great asset to your team. I feel this should be addressed immediately, maybe some customer service training, hiring process training should be reviewed and implemented at this paticular location. I applied for a position that was offering $6.55 per hour and a 5hr day work week and I was willing to accept this position and do my best for myself, your company and for my children. The economy is terrible and work is difficult to obtain. Behavior as such from a "professional" should be an embarrassment to your firm, I felt embarrassment for you. Thank you. Betrina Whitfield. poor service/overcharging
I stopped at Burger King this morning for breakfast. I ordered 6 "shots" at a price of $1.39 for 2. The gal rang up 2 shots and 4 shots. The 4 shots totaled $2.89. At 2 for $1.39, math tells me the total for 4 should be $2.78. When I inquired about the overcharge I was told "oh, thats just the way it rings up". I then told her, in that case, I wanted 3 sets of shots and the overcharge back. The gal handled it poorly, yelled to the gal in back that I wanted 11 cents back, she would have to come up and give it to me! I was the only one in the store at the time and the wait was long that I started looking at the receipt and found this overcharge.

What is Burger King doing, overcharging everyone this way?

Improper commercial
What were they thinking putting a butt commercial for kids meal. That is a very distasteful commercial, is this what BK has come down to? That is low, who ever approved this square pants commercial has no clue of what they are doing. You should be a shame of your selves. I will not spend another penny or take my family to this place again. Won't even take them for free food. Now you can wipe that stupid grin of the King's face.

COMMERCIALS
I am outraged by the Burger King's, Sponge Bob "Big Butt" commercial.
It is overtly demeaning to all viewers.

The other commercial of the Burger King with his deranged-looking, frozen smile climbing through a little boy's bedroom window with his offer of a tray of goodies is covertly suggestive.

Burger King and Spong Bob are appealing to children to buy their goods through these commercials. These children are innocents. Let's keep them that way for as long as we can!

There is something diabolical going on in the advertizing departments of these companies.
