RUDE manager
Here's a copy of the letter I sent.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to you to tell you why I will NEVER eat at Burger King again. One rude manager and your crappy Customer Service Relations have convinced me that Burger King does not need my money in this struggling economy.

I just tried to BUY (pay for with money you need) three kids meals from the Beretania Street Burger King (which is across from McDonalds – I will ALWAYS go there now) and one of your poorly trained managers was unbelievably rude to me.

I walked in and tried to buy ONE meal and purchase the other two toys separately, like I did the week before. The manager (rude, poorly trained, Filipino female, working at 4:20 PM) said I could not because they were running out of toys. I said ‘AWW, I did it last week” and I was about to order the other two meals when she said, right after I made my comment “You cannot, CASE CLOSED”.

I walked out and tried to get in touch with someone at your local office and they have not called back. I called Beretania at 4:42 to get the rude manager’s name. I informed her that I was writing this letter and calling the numbers listed because she was rude to me. She had the nerve to say she wasn’t rude. I told her about the “case closed” comment and she denied it saying “it was not in her vocabulary to say that” and that she had a witness (another worker). She said “fine, go ahead”, NOT APOLOGETIC AT ALL.

I wouldn’t have to write this letter, if you had a website with a complaints section like JACK IN THE BOX, MCDONALD’S, SUBWAY, PIZZA HUT and TACO BELL DO.

The customer is always right and JANET PASCUAL of Beretania Burger King DOES NOT KNOW THAT. She was rude, lied and egged me on to turn her name in. There are tons of hardworking people out there that deserve this job. JANET PASCUAL does not. I told her I would try to get her fired and I will.

I will be sending a copy of this letter to the headquarters of Jack in the Box, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and Subway (all next to your Burger King). I hope they share this story in their MANAGER TRAINING SESSIONS as a NOT WHAT TO DO scenario.

I will also solicit local news stations to do a story on customer service and how important it is in this struggling economy for companies LIKE YOURS.


Janet Pascual failed in so many areas because she KNEW she could be rude, lie and DARE me to complain about her because she must not get reprimanded for her rude actions. Trained managers know how to deescalate a problem, big or small (like this one). Janet should have said ‘sorry you feel that way mama, is there anything I can do?” She is NOT supposed to let it get to this level.

I was not rude to her. I was willing to pay for the products I wanted. I was also willing to come back time and time again. Janet Pascual has lost my business for your company.

I am only one person with the resolve to make sure that everyone who will listen will hear this story and boycott Burger King as well. I HOPE when I tell this story it has somewhat of a happy ending in which I can say Burger King DID SOMETHING to ensure JANET PASCUAL doesn’t lose the corporation any more business with her rude, smug attitude.

Please contact me at my email: to inform me that you have done something to ensure that JANET PASCUAL will never be rude to another customer again. I don’t want or need an apology. I want action.

food cold,wrong oder
i got a to go order, i said no cheese they gave cheese.my fries were cold, and they wont answer there phone, im not very happy.

Rude Manager
While traveling through Moab, we stopped at Burger King for a milk shake. The manager was berating an employee in front of costomers. He was also rude to the customer in front of me in line. The man paid and did not receive a burger and he also did not receive cups for his drinks. The manager acted as though the errors were his fault. When he waited on me, I gave him a $10.00 bill. He did not have the needed coins in the register and was rude to me and an employee because he had to get more change. This manager needs a course in how to treat employees and customers! Awful company
I was disturbed to see BK using the Mexican flag in a disrespectful manner in a recent commercial promoting one of its latest products. This commercial follows a long line of questionable ads including -- most recently -- one that sexualizes the cartoon character Sponge Bob. I get the attempt at young-adult-male irreverence, but I'm one of them and I don't find any of it funny. As a result, I've long refused to eat BK's subpar food. There's a way to be funny to my demographic without being offensive or tasteless.

I AM WITH THE REST OF YOU ABOUT THE NEW COMMERCIAL FOR THE KIDS MEAL AT BURGER KING. I DONT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE THINKING, DID THEY REALLY THINK THAT PARENTS WERE GOING TO RUN OUT TO THERE ESTABLISHMENT AFTER SEEING THE COMMERCIAL AND GET THERE KIDS A MEAL THERE? YOU WOULD HAVE TO BE AN IDIOT. I HOPE THEY ARE LOSING SO MUCH BUSINESS FROM THIS, I KNOW THAT I AM TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW AND I DO KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE AND I TELL PEOPLE I DONT KNOW. Commercial
Boycot BK until they wake up!!! I am highly offended and find the recent BK commercial completely disgusting. Why would a provider of a food product promote such actions as twisting a young man’s nipples in order to get a “star trek” glass. I find this a very wrong image for small children and I will not support BK in any way. That includes boycotting BK restaurants. BK’s marketing department is sick and need to quit trying to promote the wrong message and stick to selling food. I called BK’s Customer care headquarters and they took my comments and seemed extremely uncaring about my input. The simply don’t care! I’m thinking Arby’s.

Star Trek Glasses
I am very uhappy with not being able to purchase the "Star Trek Glasses" because I don't purchase a value meal. 1). I don't eat fast food...due to the content of fat and calories. I still wish to purchase the Star Trek Glasses. And I have already purchased 2 without purchasing a value meal. Today, I went through the drive through and they refused my purchase of the last 2 glasses.

I understand your promotion. I still would like to purchase the glasses. My thought is, "if I have already been able to purchases 2 without the value meal, I should and I want the other 2 glasses." I am a single woman, so, there isn't anyone to eat the value meal for me. I should have options and there aren't any according to the manager on duty today.

This is unfair and not right (in ). Poor customer service. There should be exceptions to the rule. For those of us that choose to eat healthy. YES!!! I want the last 2 glasses...right now I have "kirk" and "Uhura."

Advertising
Burger King has lost another customer. Their use of sexuality in their latest round of commercial is totally absurd. I don't know who the head of advertising is now but they need to be FIRED. You think you are capturing attention by all these controverial advertising - I'm sure with the thinking that controversial advertising is better than none. You are wrong. Between "i like square butts" and the latest nipple twisting "kingons" you've done nothing but show you lack of morals and your desperate attempts to compete with other fast food restaurants. Normally I am fairly quiet when it comes to others choices - but you have gone over the line. Trust me when I say I will be doing everything within my power to have your restaurants boycotted in the Charlottesville area.

employee didnt wash hands after tossing off
i went into the bathroom at burger king in copperas cove texas i accidently went into a stall with an employee in it he was tossing off

i stepped back apoligised for barging in (the stall wasnt locked) waited for another to open up (i wasnt gonna use the tiolet this guy was using)

then this guy leaves the stall without washing his hands minutes later i see him on the grill cooking this is absolutly disgusting

i for 1 will never eat there again and i encourage no one else to ever eat there

Poor Service
This isn't only about the 42nd street Burger King, but all the Burger Kings in the greater Omaha Metro area. The owners of this franchise have to be the cheapest people on the planet. This will probably come off as petty, but when I pay for a King Size upgrade, I expect that the fries or tots that I get for the extra cash should fill or overflow the container in which they are placed. That used to be the way it was, but in the last 2 years, I have come to expect that the only thing upgraded is the beverage and if you use the drive thru, expect to be thoroughly dissapointed in the quantity of fries and tots you will get. I pay the extra money you ask, so why do you short change me on product. When I ask them if that is what they consider to be full, they act like I should be gratefull I got any, and I should thank them for not giving me what I pay for. I'm sure I can't be the only person that has gotten fed up with this. I have had enough, I am done for good going to Burger King and will not take my family there anymore. It's during economic times like we have now, that GOOD QUALITY SERVICE AND PRODUCT are so important and can distance yourself from competitors, but instead, Burger King has decided to go the miserly cheap way and gouge the customer even more.
