Started having cooling problems after their service
My car would not start I am an R.N. I cant miss work so I called Burns Pontiac they told me they could do the job and have it done in 2 days. I did get my car back in 2 days and 2 days after getting car back it overheated . I paid Burns Pontiac 1200.00 dollars to replace my distributor that is the reason they said it wouldn"t start. To remove the distributor in my car you have to remove the water pump that means draining the coolant from the radiator and engine they failed to bleed the cooling sys. of air and didn" t put the proper amount of coolant back into the car after they finished the job. While driving I happened to look at the temp. guage it was HOT I immediately pulled over I called Burn s Pontiac and spoke someone called dave I told him about the problem I was having and he told me to drive the car in . Overheating is probably the worst thing you can do to a car and he told me to drive the car in what a moron. I called my cousin and we both bled the air out of the system and added the proper amount of coolig. I took the car back and Ron the service Mgr. told me I had a radiator leak that s funny because before they got the car I never had a cooling problem THE REASON MY RADIATOR WAS LEAKING WAS BECAUSE THEY FAILED TO PUT COOLING IN RADIATOR AND ENGINE THE PRESSURES WENT SKY HIGH AND MOST LIKELY BLEW A SEAM OUT IN THE RADIATOR. i told them this and the Mgr. told me they wouldn t make a mistake like not putting enough coolant in the car and he could say my radiator was old in other words he was calling me a liar. I was mad and left I knew it was futile to argue with them but I gave them a lot of money Im depressed because I work hard as a nurse and enjoy my car now I don t even have a car.
