We recently purchased a used car at Burt Ford on Arapahoe in Denver. After completing the financing the finance guy asked me and my wife if she was a, and I quote, "mail order bride." Burt Ford did nothing about this. Later the clearbra they had sold to us was scheduled to be put on. This was a nightmare as the company they use to do this -- Clearbra Connection of Colorado -- doesn't answer it's phone. Finally we scheduled an appointment and Clearbra called to cancel after they were supposed to show up saying weather was the reason despite the fact that it had been snowing for 2 days. We rescheduled and when we picked the car up it was in shambles all over the dealerships garage. We literally had to put the grill and other part back on the car.
Burt Ford offered to refund us. The check was supposed to be mailed to us. Service manager Mark Williams was handling the issue. Two weeks past and now check. I called and Mr. Williams asked me to call him back the next day to remind him. After playing secretary for him for the next 3 weeks we still had not received the check (I reminded him 10+ times). Finally, he said the check was sent to the bank (he promised and confirmed it was going to us). Burt did nothing. Mr. Williams even yelled at me for "pestering" him about the check even though he requested that I call him back and told me it was mailed to my address on numerous occasions in these many weeks.
As a result of the Clearbra our lights stopped working. There was also dirt under the clearbra and they didn't even apply it everywhere it was supposed to be applied. Burt offered to fix the lights and set an appointment. I showed up 2 days later and nobody knew why I was there. Turns out they didn't have the bulb so I had to go back a couple days later. Less than a month later the lights were out again and it took me numerous letters and calls to get them to fix them yet again (which happened and was handled well).
So me and my wife were the victims of derogatory comments, horrible service, lies, yelling, playing secretary and we were basically given a refund for the clearbra. DO NOT BUY A CAR THERE.
