I had my eye on a particular item on buyz.com. It was reasonably priced. I called to ask if I could purchase 10 of the item and checked the availability. They said 10 were available. Someone in the Concierge Service by the name of Danny gave me a price break and then said let me see if we have that many. He said yes they do. I then was prepared to pay right then and he said let me call you back in 15 minutes. He then never called back. I called about 20 times that day trying to reach Danny. He was unavailable. I then sent an e-mail complaint to the CEO of Buyz.com 5 hours later Danny finally called me...that was the longest 15 minutes I have ever experienced. Danny then told me that they do not have that item any longer. If I were to buy these items, I would have profited $2, 800. as they had it listed less than the value of gold. I figure they caught on and probably just put them on Bidz to run up the price and essentially cutting me out. God forbid anyone else make a profit. They have let greed get the best of them. All I have to say is that BIDZ/ BUYZ is very unhonorable and should really check themselves for that crap. The last time I checked a verbal agreement for sale was binding at the point of sale. And as far as his excuse...The availablity was checked 3 times prior to him asking to call me back so the excuse is faulty at best. Beware they don't conduct fair business.
