The owner of this company (note this is a gutter business) was hired to do a fence repair job for my neighbor. My neighbor asked him to cut up the trees that has fallen on his property during a storm. The owner of the home told C & J Gutter Services to DUMP the tree limbs and logs over the fence and onto my property. I took pictures and video taped the illegal dumping. I also approached the owner of C & J Gutter Services and advised him that what he was doing was illegal and I was going to hold him responsible for this. He stated, "The owner of this house told me to do it.". I explained to him that he just repaired their fence and I was taking pictures and video taping HIM doing the illegal dumping, he clearly knew that this area was not their property. He just turned away and continued. I called our city and they advised me to call the police. I called the non emergency number and an officer came out. The man had left, so the officer spoke with the owner. A few days later, the owners wife came to my home and apologized and promised the following weekend she would have the logs and limbs cleaned up. He also stated that the man who did the work for her was her house keepers son. The man appeared to be of hispanic origin. I hope for his sake that no one tells him to go jump off the bridge, he may just do it! As of today, two weeks later, the logs and limbs are still in my backyard. I am posting this to let people know that may be thinking about hiring this company to do work for them that you may want to think twice. Also, if you are thinking about hiring a lady to clean your house, you might want to make sure that this is not his mother. You may not be able to trust her, as she is his mother. The actions of this company could put you in a situation for a civil suit to be filed against you. As they obviously do not have good judgement.
