I try not to fuss about any company but this has gone too far. My husband was fired after 20 other drivers in the last 2 weeks at the same terminal. Reason you don't drive safe enough for the company. Now here is the problem: no wrecks, no bump ins, no DOT violations, no tickets, no nothing. Clean your truck out was all the guy that fired him would say. A district manager told him it is because CR England has too many new students coming out of their school and they need somewhere to put them. So let's get this straight they are taking safe, experinced drivers off the road and firing them and replacing them with drivers that just learned how to drive a truck. NEVER again will we apply to a company like CR England. Might need to be on the safe side and stay off the roads too.

Anyone who is thinking about or have a loved one thinking about taking a job with CR Enland, please stay away!

My husband was an employee of Werner for a year and Werner lost the local account he was on. He didn't want to do 48 states so he decided to start looking for other options. He called CR England and spoke with a requiter by the name of Claudia. She stated that she had a dedicated run available for New York State and he would be home every weekend and two or three eves during the week. I know sounds to good right! That is why we called her multiple times to verify and even had her email it in writing. It was very important that he was home every weekend because I work the weekends and he needs to be home for the kids.

My husband gave Werner their notice and headed off to Indiana for orientation (which by the way they don't pay you for!) He completed 4 days of orientation and on the last day they gave everyone their dispatch contact info and on the paper work it stated he was working for Sorrento??? He called his dispatcher to confirm that he would be home every weekend and during the week and he laughed at him and said try once every two weeks! WHAT!

They had him! He called Claudia to discuss it with her and she now claims that HE MUST OF BEEN CONFUSED! WTF! We thought that we covered our butts even by getting it in email.

I called Claudia's boss who was a b***** and she stated that she doesn't know of any account like what Claudia was talking about but refused to help us!

He decided to stick it out, really we didn't have a choice at this point.

On his start date we drove two hours to pick up his truck, they gave us the keys then we drove to a secluded lot to find the truck that was a piece of junk! My husband opens the truck and someone else's junk was in it! It looked like they just walked off the job and never looked back. The shifter was duct taped together and the fan system and air conditioning didn't even work and did I mention it was dirtier that S****. We went back to the office and told the dispatcher that was on and he said sorry about that, you will have to go back home till we get it fixed??????? WHAT??????

We spent our last dimes on gas to get him there!!!

What kind of company assigns a truck to a new employee and the don't even check the truck???????

Also did I mention we ran into another trucker in the lot and he said to my husband "Is that your wife? You better give her a big hug because you will be lucky if you get home"

I will be damned if I let my husband work for a company that is so crocked, so now my husband is unemployed thanks to CR England!!! Thanks Claudia you liar!!! I don't know how you sleep at night taking advantage of families and lying to them to make a pay check. You should be ashamed of yourself!!!

Someone has to put a end to these companies taking advantage of people like this!!! It is so wrong!!!

The company and the school is a SCAM and a lot of people have been ripped off from them. They get you down there with a “free” bus trip, but quickly get their money back when you pay the $100.00 admission fee. The hotel is horrible. Then you are STUCK there with no transportation and everything is far away. The rooms are overcrowded and dirty. Over the phone the recruiters make you feel like you will have a great paying job, but their intentions were to get you down there where they can try to pursuade and even force you into sign a lease on one of their trucks. You’re not told the truth at all. I was told different and contradictory information. Also when I questioned the director or recruiters they wouldn't give me straightforward answers. Everything was on a hush hush basis. I finally got tired of everything and had to pay my own back to CT because I couldn't stand all the dishonesty from that company. The company has a history of doing this to people and it's too bad I found out late. Lesson learned and wish to warn others of this SCAM.

I was treated like a dog at the texas school and then assaulted by my trainer as well. I am current seeking women that have gone through the pain of assault and rape by trainer from C R England. We must band together if this is to stop. There is strength in numbers.

I called these idiots up because I was desperate for a driving job due to a termination from a previous company because of an accident. they say the accidents was no problem and they'll work with me and to come to orientation. hopped on the greyhound in the middle of tropical storm Hanna to Indiana that week end and then the trouble begins.

I get there Sunday night at 9 pm in Gary to wait for the shuttle to the motel (me and 28 other guys that was going for orientation). we get picked up (2 hours later) and the shuttle driver tells us that we have to be downstairs at 5:30am to catch the bus or it's a 40 dollar cab ride to the terminal. I didn't even stay in the motel they told me I was going to stay in. had to go to the Motel 6 next door. with only 6 hours of sleep I almost missed the bus but caught it anyway.

Got to the terminal and the place was packed with people. the classroom had close to 100 people. the whole day they were pushing people to lease a truck like a pushy salesman. skipping ahead I was told that I had to take a refresher course and it will cost me 50 dlls to start and I had to sign a loan thing for training. so I did. The food was expensive and the staff was lousy and rude.

The next day I was called to personnel and told that I was being sent home due to a bad drug test saying they found cocaine in my system. I protested saying I don't even smoke cigarettes how is that possible? they said 'how should I know drug user'. I yelled in rage because of this lack of info and they threatened to called the cops on me due to my outburst. So I yelled give me my 50 dlls back since I'm not going to train. they said no it's non refundable. after hearing that I wanted to rip that place apart because that was all I had left.

I was treated like sh** the 2 days I was there and I don't want to imagine what it would be like if I drove for these MFers. I advise anyone to stay as far away from this company. To them you're not a driver, you're more like cattle waiting to be slaughtered for the meat to make money off of.
