false information/hard to read statements

I had to move to a smaller apt in same complex and could not use the same company for my cable because i could not get a signal so had to switch to COMCAST. As time went by i saw the special where you can get all 3 for 99.00 a month, ATT&T who i use for my cell phone also had the same special, called them to see if i can get the same with them they said no because it is only for new users only. to make a long story short i called COMCAST back they said because if still have cable under contact for 6 month that i will have to wait but we have a great special . phone for 19.99 with long distance free and cable for 54.00 with free hbo and pay 9.95 a month for your DVR then it will be your to keep, you can also get free ditgial voice and it appears on your computer for free. and we can give you cinemax, starz and showtime for free for 6 months since Direct T.V. gave it to you for free for 6 months we want your business. I get the first bill and it comes to 339.00 How in the world did i get such a large bill? i was being charged for the Cinemax, Showtime and Starz was coming through for free but was not on bill. as i called them they stated they do not offer free movies channels for 6 months nor do they offer the dvr for free after 6 months to keep and that they charge one month in advance plus prorated amount for 1 week . so i have 2 months plus one week of service within 2 weeks is past due, i had to borrow money to cover this i got rid of the movie channels .returning the dvr . when i was finally aloud to change to a triple play for 99.00 it charged me again 99.00 in advance i called to complain when i found out my phone number was replaced without my permission said i called at&t if they had the #they said no Comcast is quick to blame everyone else for their errors and the liars they have as sales persons who can charge you for anything they want to get a good commission. they fixed my phone line with same phone# next day no caller id or the free 3 month hbo that the only kind agent gave me for the drama that this has been . be careful they also out source which is even worse there is more to this story but i have written enough they hang up on you when you are waiting or transfering and don't call back unless it is new service if you have service good luck bad customer service from this company this has been a weekly process. BBB here i come as well FCC complaints. pass on to other unhappy comcast customers. if i could change i would only company for my area. i will be moving to a house in nov and i will NOT GET COMCAST I WILL DROP THEM LIKE A BAD HABIT.

Customer Service

On or about November 13, 2009 I called Time Warner and inquired about the status of my account, that I knew I was behind. I told the customer representative that I had suffered two strokes on August 3, but have since returned to work and would be able to pay the bill in full by first of December. I was told, in a very nice manner, unless a payment was received by Nov 18 my service would be disconnected.

Asked the minimum I could pay and was told 204 and some change. So on Monday November 17, I paid $205.00. While watching TV at about 10:30AM Saturday November 21, My service was disconnected, Phone, Cable and internet. Called Customer Service and was told the person I talked with earlier had made no notes concerning and extension. Told her I was not given an extension because I paid the minimum due. She then spoke to her supervisor and said there was nothing they could do because I broke a promise to pay by September 28th. Told her I had made no deal to pay by Sept 28 and asked if I had broken a promise in Sept, would not my service had been disconnected in October. She in formed me she was just a collector and could not answer those types of questions. In short, I paid an additional $119 plus in order to have my phone reinstated. Now we are going to have to eat Romain Noodles for the next two weeks until I can complete a job and collect payment. Anybody know how to shape Romain Noodles into a turkey?
