We purchased an expensive Eastlake 50'' x 86'' Dining Table [2375-5086] from Cabot House in Portsmouth, NH around 3 years ago. I was taking the umbrella out (just lifting it out) and the glass top exploded into a million pieces. I seriously don't think thisw was any fault of mine. Called up Cabot House and the sales rep told me the unit would be replaced, but that she needed to speak to her manager. Couple of days later I got a call and wss told the top would be replaced (as it should have been). Called two weeks later to check status and was told the sales rep had "changed his mind" and they wouldn't replace the unit.
This is supposed to be a top notch furniture store and a top notch line of outdoor furniture.
I would be very cautious purchasing ANYTHING from Cabot House. They don't stand by their sales and they don't stand by their customers. Netx time, Sears & Roebuck!
