Unautherized billing to bank card
Saw unautherized charge to my bank card for $79.00 on 1130 9, notified bank of fraud, had card cancelled. today 1211 9 recieved packadge from Cafe Saporito, did not open as it is not company i would deal with. nothing would please me more then to see cafe saporito owners and opperators in jail for fraud as world would be better place without them all beware and check bank statement carefully

Fraud
Had a 79.00 charge to my bank account to publicationsmax.com which I never ordered any magazines. Today 12/10/09 I received a package with Seattle Coffee Direct and a cheap Dollar store mug which I never ordered. I had to cancel my card and have a new one ordered. I tried calling the company and the phone number doesn't work.

Sent stuff I didn't order
Just got my travel mug and coffee delivered by the UPS guy today!!! Oh, except I never ordered these items and I've never heard of this company. Called Cafe Saporito to find out why they're shipping me crap. No answer.
I had a $79 charge from some magazine company a week or so ago (publicationsmax.com) also in Evanston, Illimois. I called Publications Max - no answer. Disputed it as an unauthorized charge, bank accepted the dispute, card cancelled and replaced with a new one.
I did try SeattleDirect over a year ago, and cancelled after I got the first shipment. I called a month later to confirm I'd cancelled... I didn't have any problems with funny charges, shipments, or anything. I didn't do my homework, and found out later they're not a legit company, they're a credit card scammer. This appears to be the fallout from that little misadventure. I've learned (ugh, twice now) to check the reviews on a company before ordering from them.

As others have said, I received a 12 oz bag of 'Seattle's Best' coffee and a travel mug. Called them. THey acknowledged their error, and said they would refund my credit card the two charges of around $80 it had been billed.
They haven't committed a crime that I could see. But the intent here, it seems to me, is to do this enough times that they aren't called to cancel the order every time. I'd be very interested in a thorough investigation of their practices by a neutral observer.
They will receive, in two days, a registered mail/return receipt letter from me, copied to my local police department, to the effect that any order I receive from them in the future will be unsolicited, and therefore not my responsibility in the slightest; that I withdraw their right to charge me on any or all of my charge cards, and that there are penalties for unauthorized use of them.

Never order coffee/mug
Received pkg today from Cafe Saporito from IL on 12/8/09...Never ordered coffee sample/mug. Already had two 79.00 charges on my credit cards from Seattle Coffee Direct and Coffee Outlet Store without anything sent to me...both from Illinios. Only has a PO Box for return and no invoice. When you call the phone number 1-888-963-CAFE it is the same girl's voice on the answering machine as the other two scams to leave a message and not identifying the company. How do you get this to stop? BBB? Calling UPS to return package and waiting to see another charge...BEWARE ONLINE!

received a shipment I never ordered
Today I received a package of 1 travelers mug and 12 oz of coffee I did not order. A few months back I received a "free" order and then I was getting an order a week charged to my credit card. I called them and they told me to return all the orders I didn't want and they would credit my card. I did this right away and am still waiting for my credit card refund. Now today I get another order I didn't order. They better not charge my card again. I keep trying to call the 800 number and keep getting a busy signal.

unordered shipment
I did not order this package that arrived today by Federal Express. It contained one coffee cup and one 12 ounce package of coffee. This company, Cafe Saporito, made a charge of $79.00 to my credit card. I will be sending the package back, and disputing this fraudulent transaction.

bogus coffee shipment
Unauthorized coffee shipped priced $40.00 a pound via UPS.
Refused one, second one I received was shipped in a way that I had to pay UPS $9.00. Attempt to call Shipper resulted in a dead line. They have no online address. I am very angry. I see many others on line who have the same experience.

They sent unsolicited 12 Oz. coffee beans and travel coffee mug. Charged my credit card $79 twice. Second shipment is on the way I am told. Called to complain. They said they would refund the unauthorized charge to my credit card. They had it on file because I had ordered coffee from them Oct. 2008 and cancelled in Nov 2008 because it was too expensive. Found out my credit card had been used for unauthorized cash withdrawal three times in one day in another state. It may not be related to this scam. Nevertheless, I had to cancel my card and get a new one. Check your statement.
