Where to start...

Back in 2004, I had an accident and my drivers side door and front panel sustained considerable damage. I

had taken my 2004 G35 Coupe to Calgary Coachworks South location to get repaired in the later part of

2004. I picked my car up at the end of January 2005. Fast forward to May 2007 I noticed that my drivers

door had started to rust. I took my car to Coachworks and was asked if I had my receipts, which at the time

I did not. They advised me to get my receipts despite me asking them to retrieve my file from their data

base. They informed me they did not keep records on computer. In 2008 I took my car back to them as

the rust was getting worse and again was told that they would not do anything for me unless I could provide

receipts. Well low and behold in 2009 after doing my taxes I found said receipts and presented them to the

manager Richard ( the previous 2 visits they had different managers on both occasions) Well this being the

first time this manager has seen or heard of my problem he was a little hesitant to commit to finding a

solution and kept telling me that in 2007 when the rust first appeared I should have gotten it dealt with,

which I explained that I tried but kept being dismissed because I did not have receipts to provide, so he said

he would call me back with a fair resolution. Well that fair resolution turned out to be that they would pay

for half and I would need to pay for the remainder of the repair job, to the amount of $1900. First off the

original receipt the total for the work done was about $2200 and that also included the front panel as well as

replacing and reapplying the 3m protection on the hood and front panels. So how the hell within a few

years did their labour and parts double in price. And second of all, their the ones to repair my car so they

should be held fully accountable to rectify the problem. So obviously I did not agree. Now in the past 2

months I have gone there 4 times and keep getting the run around from Richard saying that he will call me

and never does. I am sick and tired of their bull shit and will be taking further action (including this post)

against them. They want to keep avoiding me I will give them no choice but to acknowledge the problem

and rectify it ASAP. Tired of driving in my car only to get stares from people wondering why my car is

rusting like it is, well soon whoever looks at my car will know EXACTLY why.
