After being members for 30 years with CSAA we decided we could get better premiums for our 2 cars through AARP. We notified CSAA with the form letter that AARP provides to notify current providers of auto insurance that coverage is being changed. We sent this letter in to CSAA in April because our insurance comes up for renewal in May. We have received a bill for 184.00 stating our insurance has been cancelled with them DUH! And if we don't respond we will be referred to collections. We were paid on our premiums until May 27th our renewal date. We saved over 800 a year with better coverage through AARP and neither of us has had any tickets or accidents over the last 10 years. My last ticket was in college in 1973. What gives this conglomerate the gall to do this. Is it to pay for there millons spent on new call centers?
Word to the wise although they provide wonderful benefits such as travel and free maps does this justify premium excess?
