On October 20, 2010 I locked myself out of my house. I looked in the hard copy yellow pages and ended up phoning the local Call4Locksmith.com who had a full page ad which also stated "We Will Beat Any Price." Their ad also said "FAST 15 MINUTE RESPONSE." The man who showed up was over 20 minutes late (he had told me 20 minutes) and instead of the cost being around $50, he told me that the charge was $29 for the service call and would be $185 to open the door. I was captured as I had no telephone and no access to another locksmith and it was after dark and it was cold. I paid the man $185 in cash as he told me that if I did this he would waive the service call.

After the fact, I tried in vain to contact anyone in this company except the answering service to complain about the exorbitant charges and the fact that I found 2 other companies that would have charged me a total of $40 and $65. So, let Call4Locksmith.com beat those prices!! Right; cannot get in touch with anyone even at the corporate headquarters in Boca Raton, FL (Mega Locksmith Inc.).

This company is nation wide so beware of this crooked company anywhere in the United States. I was truly ripped off and was scammed and I am as angry with myself as these crooks!

We called them to rekey 6 locks and were quoted $50 per lock over the phone. After the work was done they handed us a bill for $1080.00 and collected it on our credit card. The bill should have been for $300.00 plus about $100 for one lock which they claimed could not be repaired.

I was given a quote of $50 to have a locksmith open my 1998 Ford Mercury Marque. The key was left in the ignition with the car running. I explained to the call taker that the car had been left running for hours with the key in the ignition. He said: "Student discounts are $35 and a $15 minimum per vehicle."

I said: So $50 total?" He said "Yes." They tryed to get $100 from me. I argued and got it down to $60. I will not do business with them again.
