I don't know what is wrong with your managers? This is my 3rd time to complain about them.
Walmart has replied each time and the issue (was resolved) I don't know if your 'Managers' are afraid of the head office 'God' or not, but it is my guess.
I have been a manager of business for over 30 years and if I ever presented myself as your 'God-Like' manager do, I would have expected to be fired.
More to the question, I would wonder why/or how I was ever hired as a manager to begin with. (I truly dislike complaining, but you should know a bit about why WalMart may be so despised.
This last time I called to inquire about tires for my car. All went pretty well with the lady I spoke with. She was very nice.
I thought it was Walmarts policy to meet or do better on a price.
She gave me the tire name and price for all tires. I also ask about brakes and was informed they do not do them? I had just seen them advertised in the paper. ??
Anyway I called around comparing prices. This one company I had been to before was $15.00 cheaper per tire and they did breaks. (they just could not take me that day) So to compare prices I called Walmart back and explained a price difference with the other company.
No longer was the young lady so nice!! She starts right in with they (the other company) does not give a guarantee.
OK, so I am an older woman, but not that old, rude and Am inquisitive.
I called the other company back and indeed they give a great guarantee with their tires too.
I called Walmart back and she told me they were just telling me that to get my business? She was not very polite about it by this time. (Maybe she was tired of messing with me)
If she thought for a second I was bad, I would love to see her deal with 2 mothers when handling a 400 person sit down wedding dinner. (Now that is stress, a lady like me is not stress)
My big complaint and I probably would have gone ahead and went to Walmart to get the tires, because I was free that day, I was disturbed she had the gull to run another company down in such a manner. It certainly is not good community business.
I do not want to get anyone in trouble but all my problems have been with the managers.
Do you train them to be so mean and uncourteous? Are they afraid of losing their positions if they are not forceful like 'you must train them to be'
I have always found the nicer the better. I also do not understand how a manager can degrade a employee in frount of costumers?
I did leave over a basket full of articles sitting because of these kinds of actions from a manager.
Walmart not only needs managers that can deal with the public but also employees in a discreet manner.
