Just absolutely ridiculous. On 2-11-08 a UPS driver came to my door and slapped an already written out InfoNotice on the door. My neighbor tried to informed the gentleman that I was home, but to no avail. She called me and informed me of the situation and I ran outside and made an attempt to catch the driver to no avail. I went back in the house and called UPS to inform them of the situation and they told me the package would be delivered again the next day which was not sufficient since I wouldn't be home the next day. However, I instructed the customer service rep that I would be home again on Friday. They assured me the package would be delivered then. However come Friday, 2-15-08 I received no package. Through the course of the day, I made 3 calls to UPS asking about my package. Each time I was told they had until 7:00 pm. At approximately 7:15 pm I called again. The first words out of the customer service rep's mouth was that they had until 7:00 pm, which I kindly reminded her that it was pass 7:00 pm. I ask for a supervisor who got on the phone and made every attempt to calm me down. As usual, he made every apology known to mankind. He eventually assured me that the package would be delivered to my job on Monday. I came home Tuesday nite (2-19-08) and find a 3rd - Final attempt from UPS. The package was never delivered to my job as requested.
Last month, UPS lost, redirected to someone else's address, and finally stole my package (a camcorder), which I had to put thru a claim and wait to be reimburse.
In December, the driver gave my package to someone from a resident down the street from me. This was someone I didn't know and I was lucky they were honest enough to give it to me.
THE ABSOLUTE PITTS!
