Not reputable
This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a retailer. I ordered a Nikon D5000 for my daughter and as other reviews report, received a phone call resulting in buying extra items, including an extended warranty. I was assured that the extended warranty was through Nikon. Then I read some of the reviews posted online, and decided I was no longer comfortable with the transaction. I called to cancel. First, Camerakings refused to cancel the order, claiming that it had already shipped--although the next day when I finally got a tracking number, UPS said it hadn't started the process until a day after my call. Also, the salesman asked why I wanted to cancel, and I explained that I had learned that they were not authorized Nikon dealers and their items were not guaranteed by Nikon. He reassured me that no, the extended warranty was definitely from Nikon and I would see that when the box arrived. I also sent 2 e-mails trying to cancel the order, but to no avail. Well, the camera arrived, and the box was open, while Camerakings website says returns must be sealed. It didn't arrive sealed, so I could hardly return it sealed. Therefore, my daughter went onto the Nikon website to register the camera, and Nikon said it is gray market and they DON'T warrant it. The "extended warranty" included in the box was not from Nikon, but from Mack Camera--which is in New Jersey, while I am on the west coast, is obviously not Nikon--and has many bad reviews as well. This is a sleazy operation and has left me completely frustrated and dismayed. Avoid this retailer at all cost.

Lack of service
Ordered the camera, they sent their email saying they HAD to talk to me before processing (opportunity to up-sell their add on junk and service agreement – Note: they already processed the payment) I declined said I needed just the camera. waited 10 days and nothing... no tracking number, no acknowledgment of order/sale etc. Called waited on hold for ever and then was told it was out of stock and they did not know when they would have the camera to ship "maybe a week." They took my money right away. A reputable company takes the money when they ship, not at time of order. Canceled my order and was told ti would take 3 - 5 days to process the cancellation. No camera, out the money so I can't order from a more reputable company until they decide to give me back my money they have had fro now more than 15 days. I DO NOT RECOMEND CAMERA KINGS .

Completely ignored
I have written five times to company. Recieved the same generic response each time. Appears as if they dont even read their emails. Worst experience ever! Made a simple request for a copy of receipt to repair camera under warranty. Camera was nonfunctional from day one. Zero customer service.

Dont do IT
Sketchy service with great prices. I called in my order and ask right away if the item i was wanting was in stock(canon 7d). The seller Ronald Ex: 234 said infact it was, when infact it wasn't. So i placed my order over the phone with him on a Friday, he stated if would ship out on that Monday...Perfect!!! so i thought. So Monday night comes and still no confirmation email Hmmmmm??? I call tuesday afternoon and a young man states it will ship right away so i said ok thats fine. Wednesday rolls around and still no Email confirmation, so i call again and talk to another gentleman who now states they over sold on those camers and they were not in stock but SHOULD be here in the near future. My theory is there great low prices draw you in, BUT if they cant up sale you in to buying there OVER PRICED accesories then they feed you a line of crap until you cancel the order.. So in my experiance in MY opinion i will never try them again and just stick with Bh photo :) Anyways if you do oder through them i hope you have better luck than myself...Personally i think it's a rip off !

Scammers
Scam Artist! I bought a camera thru paypal and after a few days of no email confromation a salemens called me while I was driving down the road. He tried and tried to sell me a stupid 3rd party warranty (never). Then he went to upselling related items . I fell for the upgraded battery that would be half price with camera purchase. This made the good deal on camera go away and opened up my credit card to them abusing it . They then charged shipping (was suppose to be free) and a battery i could get anywhere for 25.00 they charged over 100.00 . They were suppose to send email of new pricing but instead just mailed the camera and battery with new invoice inside package . After many Rude telephone Idiots they gave me a coupon for 55.00 off the deal which made me only get burned for about 40.00 bucks. It was about a wash after threy said they would charge 15% restock fee. Run to bestbuy and pay retail...the stress of dealing with Scam heads like this makes a trip to retail seem painless.

HORRIBLE! Stay away! FRAUD!
Worst customers service ever! ordered a Sony A850. The website said it was in stock. I needed it right away so I paid for the fastest shipping. They had me call in to confirm order and tried to sell me a bunch of other crap like batteries, a warranty etc. I wasnt buying into it. I said no to the other products, everything was fine and dandy, they told me I would get my camera right away. About an hour later, I got an email stating that my order had been canceled as requested, but I had not canceled my order! I called back, no answer and sent them an email, no reply. Called the next day since they had taken the money out of my account and I wanted to know the status. The customer service rep (ext 257) was super rude, told me that the camera wasnt even in stock and he didnt know when it would be. Weird, since the day before, it was in stock. I asked him why he had canceled it, he said "Opps" Freaking retarded. Now I have to wait 4 business days for the money to go back into my account from Paypal and I had to cancel the photoshoot. Never buy from these ppl, they try to sell you a bunch of extra crap and if you dont buy it, they screw with your order!

did not recieve purchase
I purchased a canon T2i from them but never recieved it. They claim they are running an investigation with UPS because they shipped it. They will not issue me another camera or refund my money. They are complete rude and hung up on me on the phone. They claimed that the investigation would take 7-10 business days however it has been over a month. They refuse to give me an further information. I am out a camera and the money over a month later.

I ordered a digital camera online using Yahoo Shopping. This company offered the lowest price, so I purchased. There was no eMail order confirmation, only a number provided. I phone them first thing in the morning to confirm the order had been received. They confirmed it and launched into a marketing spiel trying to sell me batteries, memory card and extended warranty, all of which I declined. If I had not phoned them I am not confident they would have processed my order immediately.

They are going to send you the items that you did not order
Camera Kings are bunch of lairs, they going to shipp the items slower than you paid for, they are selling refurbished stuff, they are going to send you the items that you did not order, stay away from this guys!

I will not buy from this store again because of such business practice and lies
I hate to be harsh but I find that the salespeople are LIARS. Here is my experience: I wanted a camera to take with me for Thanksgiving weekend. I ordered the camera Thurs before the week of Thanksgiving. The website stating that orders will go out withing 1 to 2 business days - IS A LIE! My order never went out. Instead by MONDAY I receive an e-mail asking me to call them up to "verify" my order. What this is, is a chance for them to pressure sell you additional stuff for your camera. It is now MONDAY and Thanksgiving is only 3days away. I ask the salesperson (after saying "no" to what they want to sell), what is best the shipping method to get the product GUARANTEED by Wed. He said he'll expedite the shipping and GUARANTEED ME DELIVERY BY WEDNESDAY. He told me this guarantee TWICE. Wednesday comes along and no delivery. I called and spoke to a different salesperson whose first comment on my order was, "It hasn't been shipped yet" and ".. it will ship tomorrow." Meaning Thanksgiving day. When i got upset and said I requested expedited shipping, he CHANGED his tune. Told me there's an expedited shipping and it would've gone out Mon or Tues. When I told him I haven't received it yet he said I may get it Friday. AGAIN - THIS PERSON IS A LIAR. He lied because it WAS NOT SHIPPED AT ALL. I checked my credit card and saw no charges yet. I told him to cancel the order - which he did not - ANOTHER LIE. Friday I called the customer service to complain about this and they told me the item "Has NOT SHIPPED yet and will ship that day FRIDAY or MONDAY. Now this is their EXPEDITED shipping of 1 to 2 business days which I requested Monday on an order I made thursday the week before. A 7-10 day shipping now. I asked the order to be canceled and bought the camera at a local store. Yes, I paid more but save yourself the headache and lies and buy at a trusted local store. I read other reveiws of Camera Kings and found customers who ran into the same problem. I will not buy from this store again because of such business practice and lies. AN honest answer would've been better than to lie to a customer. BEWARE!!
