didnt returned my camera which i given for repair
I purchased a Nikon S10 from cameraaddict then within few months it stoped functioning. I called the Nikon & shipped my camera for repair, but to my horror they said they cant repair the product as this is not for sale in USA product.
I called cameraaddict & they said its fine we do purchase from Nikon Japan & we legally sell in USA, and they asked that i can ship the camera to them for repair. I shipped the camera with Return Merchandise Authorization number is 342500.
Since then i am not able to get in touch with these people. Is there any way by which i can get hold of these people.

False advertising
I ordered a Sony KDL-32XBR6 from these turkeys on 10/8 and received an e-mail confirmation. On 10/9 I had a phone message to call and confirm my order. When I did, they tried to sell me cables and a stand. When I declined, he asked me if I wanted the TV menus and user guide in English. I said yes, and he said that would be an additional $99. If I didn't pay that, the menus and documentation would be in Japanese! What total BS! I canceled the order. I also filed a complaint with the FTC.

Camera order
Ordered a digital camera on the web and got confirmation of order quickly and although their website said the camera was available it was not shipped. The price was really good so I decided to wait. When I called, they told me it was on back order although their web site said "ship on order". Told me it woul ship in 2 or 3 weeks. Been waiting since April 7 for the camera. I've called 5 times since April and the story is the same, two or three weeks although their web site says it is available.. Since then the camera price on their website has gone up $60. On one of the calls I was left waiting on the line for over 25 minutes. Is there any recourse for this type of deceptive business practice? Please let me know.

Japanese Model-Scam
I found the lowest possible price on a High Zoom Camera. I cancelled my order with another company because this website had it much lower. I ordered it online, the next day I went to see if any updates had been made, and there was a message to call the Customer Service Dept and an extentsion. Everything was fine, wanted to confirm my billing address and shipping. Then tried to sell me all these add ons. I repeatly saying no to the extended life battery, warrenty, etc. Then at the very end of the conversation this rep informs me that did I currently have ordered the JAPANESE model, would I like the US model instead. Well whats the difference, i asked. Well the Japanese model has a shorter life on the battery and all the menus are in JAPANESE. Being I don't plan on learning to read JAPANESE anytime soon, I asked how much the US model was. And of course it came out to the full price, no deal. I quickly cancelled my order with them, and returned to the site to see if I missed some information. NOPE NOWHERE IN THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION DOES IT STATE THAT THE MODEL IS AN IMPORT. I will never refer this company to anyone. Shady selling tacts and omitting valuable pieces of information is no way to run a business. Needless to say I have re-placed the order with the orginal site via phone to ensure that they were not trying the same tactic. Taking peoples hard on cash in this day in age is disgusting. At least inform you customers first.

No upsell, no deal!
Like so many others report, I placed on line order on Saturday - web site said merchandise was in stock and would be shipped on order, but that is a lie. Before anything happens, you have to run the gauntlet of the "customer support" department, via an email message telling you to call to "verify" so they can "proceed and process". What a pile of do do. You can expect no "verification" of anything - another lie to get you to call. You must speak to a salesman who will try to upsell you. If you resist and he can not sell you something other than what you want at the price they advertize as a total fake out, you get a follow up email telling you that the merchandise you wanted is suddenly "out of stock", and you are invited to cancel your order. I have a better idea - don't waste your time with this company in the first place. I shopped Sonystyle.com, and ordered my camera from a company that respects itself and its customers. Did I pay more than I had to? No way to tell. One thing is for sure, cameraaddict had no intention of selling me the camera I wanted for their "low, low price".

Ripoff
I ordered an expensive digital camera, advertised on the website at 1/2 price what's in the local photo store. As I can see now, it was a typical scam this company is doing for years without any intervention from the city/state or even federal bodies.
The product arrived, but finally I was charged TWICE the amount. There's no way to contact the company - most of their email addresses are invalid, and there's no response for the the only email appears to be working. Their phone number has a "Full message box. Thank you for calling. Good-bye!", so no way to contact by phone nor leave a message.
Just to let you know: it's a Jewish-operated company (they seem to cover almost all the camera-selling business today). Please understand, no offense here, just a simple fact statement. So you know whom you dealing with.
Overall experience - arogance, scam, betrayal - they should be out of business, possibly answering to the State Persecutor.

RIP OFF ARTIST
I ordered a Garmin GPS. Then I had to call for verification before they would ship. At that time, they tried to switch me off to a much more expensive package. I reluctantly agreed to a smaller upgrade package. However, when the upgrade arrived, it did not contain what they promised. I wanted to keep the GPS and return the upgrade package of CRAP! Thay said that I had to return EVERYTHING and pay a 20% restocking fee. These people are BANDITS and Classic Bait and Switch Artists! Avoid them like the PLAGUE!!!

Price scam
Be leery of good prices from CameraAddict.com! I am glad I asked what the camera came with... the answer is "nothing", no battery, no charger no cables - nothing. I do not know how this is possible because those items should be in the original box from Nikon. Beware of anything too good to be true!

fraudulant prices
Found an LCD for a good price on cameraaddict.com. Price was $100-$300 cheaper than other companies. I ordered online, recived an email asking that I call to confirm my order. Now I know this is just a way to get them to try to sell you overpriced cables and accessories. However when I called, I was told a stand that is STANDARD on this tv would cost and extra $300. Every other place one can buy this includes the swivel stand. Just a flat-out disho0nest company.

extra charges
You think you're getting a great deal on a product, but you have to call and confirm the order. When you call in, they up-sell you on products and then tack on a "mandatory" shipping insurance of 29.95. It may have still been the best price, but it's not the honest way to do business and creates doubt in the integrity of the company. Go with someone you can trust!
