Our house hold has received multiple calls from this company trying to solicit donations from my mother. she has asked them not to call and been told to make a donation and they will quit calling. Mother lives with me and is on vacation this week and I have been fielding the calls. Today I was accused of being a liar when I told them she was not here. The woman was very rude and as a result I returned the favor. I then tried to call the number back that showed on my caller id {800-390-4812} and it is a disconnected number. found a solution though. Called my phone company and had the numbers from this company blocked. Interesting to do an internet search and see how very little of the funds they solicit actually go to charity and how many times the word scam is applied to thier name... thanks...BWW

I have received mulitple calls from this telemarketing company representing the "Cancer Fund of America" asking for donations. I have declined to donate and have repeatedly asked them to remove me from their calling list and stop calling. They have refused to do so. The last time they called, I said that if they didn't stop I would file a formal complaint against their company. The person calling laughed at me and said "Go ahead! We are a charity and you can't do anything about this". I did some research and found that this company represents many different charity organizations, has many complaints filed against them, and has questionable business practices with regards to the percentage of money donated that actually goes to the charity.
