FREAKING ANGRY 8 WEEKS NO PHONE March 23, 2011
Repairs and lost phone
On the 26 Dec 2010 i started having problems with my phone, Blackberry. I had then then taken my phone in to get fixed. The people at Geenstone Autopage had then told me to wait a week to see if the phone keeps having its problem, switching off offten and freezing. after a week of it still ahvinf the problem i went in again, they then told me i needed to do a software upgrade, which me being a female couldnt do so i had to go back the next day with my Laptop for them to do the soft ware upgrade which i did. then then asked me to wait another week to see if it would stop its problem. Which it did not!!! then took it in a third time when they finally said "no problem" we will send it in and you should hear from us in 3-6 weeks. So that was on the 2 Feb 2011. I then decided taht after three weeks i hadnt heard any thing about my phone so i called them... two days later they called me back syaing we are so sorry mam but your phone is still in repairs we will call you as soon as we hear any thing. So after a week still no word... phoned again they said well mam maybe you should phone the repair centre because we are not hearing back from them. Which i did. The reairs center told me sorry mam, but your phone is not in our system...OH REALLLYY where is it. phoned the shop back and they couldn believe it...YES THEY LOST MY PHONE!!! the manager then called me saying so sorry mam we will issue you a new one so so so so so sorry, i thought cool they are actually trying to rectify the problem. OH MAN WAS I WRONG!!! the manager had asked me to give him a week to get a new phone which i did... a week later no jokes they FOUND my phone hidden behind a box... The manager couldn believe his luck... He had said so so so sorry but now we will end your phone in... FINE another week passes no word i phone the manager... he says sorry the problem is quite big it must be sent to advanced repair in midrand... WHAT you mujst be JOkING... and says in the last breath but it will take 12 to 16 working days... well as you can imagine i was pissed. the manager then told me to please phone the repair centre and find oout how long, , , i did got the same answer. i then asked to speak to some one of authority... the highest i could get to was the shop outlet manager's assistant who said he would forward a compliant. i have not to hear any thing... The manager said that he would try and hasten the process and said he would phone in a week... WEllllll today is that week thedate today is the23 rd of March 2011... i phoned the shop and demanded my phone or a new phone with two months of charges in cash for me not being able to use my phone... and was cut off saying that oh so sorry the manager is not in today you will have to call tomorrow.OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD is there any body who could help me because im sure im SAGA is not finished yet!!!
