CAPTAIN DAVE'S MARITIME SERVICE blueboat34 has DOT but no authority and is a fraud and is transporting illegally as per the federal laws with no MC or ICC #S also displayed on the side of your legal truck like all commercial trucks running DOT hrs & log books. You need proper government authority to transport for hire. You have not. We have filed against him. Do not use this guy or the many other non legals that state they are insured or legal it will cost you in the long run. When he gets pulled over by any law enforcement or go over required scales or at state lines driver will the arrested and fined and your load will be impounded and towed to DOT storage and get fees/fines and require a legal transporter with DOT / MC, ICC #s with commercial insurance to remove it with proper certification after all fines & fees have been paid.
Here is the site to check this info on anyone transporting>>
any for hire, a buck or for "a buddy..ie.gas money"

No Detailed Feedback Available Customer no longer needs their item(s) shipped After speaking directly with the provider, we were informed that the bottom of the boat must be cleaned prior to shipping. According to the provider, this has in the past cost $700.00 if they were to do the work. The boat has been sitting for several years and we expect the work to be extensive. We have been unable to arrange for this work to be done in time for shipment 4/20/10, and have since decided we are not going to pursue this any further. Therefore, we no longer need this boat shipped
Response from blueboat34:
THE GROWTH ON THE BOTTOM OF BOATS, ALWAYS NEEDS TO BE REMOVED. SOME OLD BOATS HAVE VERY TOXIC PAINT AND IF GROWTH FALL ON THE HIGHWAY, RUN IN TO THE DTORM DRAIN, THE TICKET WOULD BE HUGE. WHEN A VESSEL NOT BIN CLEANED FOR MANY YEARS, NOT LEGAL TO TRANSPORTATE ON THE HIGHWAY.FALL OFF AND CAUSE A ACCIDENT.

No Detailed Feedback Available There was a change to the shipping price or terms that could not be resolved These shippers are good folks who tried their best to meet my needs. We agreed on the original price but there was a misunderstanding around the price of the complete job, including additional charges related to shipping my particular boat, that could not be satisfactorily resolved. If we had communicated a little clearer in the beginning I would have realised that the cost of the complete job was not acceptable to me. I wish the shipper well in the future.
Response from blueboat34:
ALL BOATS WHEN LOADED ARE OVER 14 FEET HIGH, MUST HAVE OVERHIGH PERMIT, THE ROUTE MUST BE CONFIRMED, AND APPROVED. WE PERFORM THE REMOVAL OF ITEMS OVER 14 FEET HIGH, WE CARRY SHIP YARD TOOLS, TAKE DOWN RADAR DOME AND IT'S ARCH WHEN REQUIRED TO BE SAFE ON THE HIGHWAY. WE ALWAYS MAKE SURE AND GET THE EXTRA PERMITS FIRST.
