I ordered the Captiva SM formula for a free trail. Of course, you have to cancel within 14 days so as not to be charged the full price of about $45. I kept the first bottle, and before I knew it, I received another one and was charged again.
Since I hadn't even finished my first bottle, I decided to cancel before I received my next shipment. I called the company and was referred to someone else twice. The second time, I was told someone would call me back if I wished to cancel. A lady called me back and was rude and told me I should continue my service for half-price. I told her no, I wanted to cancel before I received my next shipment. I was hurriedly trying to complete this phone call, as I was in an important meeting in regards to getting a new home. There was also a bad connection on the representative's end, like she had me on speaker phone and was eating or doing her nails or something and I could barely hear her. She did assure me two times that my account had been cancelled.
So, today I check my account and there is a debit from Captiva SM! I call them and tell the representative that I cancelled last week and she insinuated that I was lying! She told me I would have to send back the product and pay for shipping, handeling AND a 15% restocking fee. She also kept interrupting me and told me that her supervisor would just give me the same story she was. I told her I wanted to speak to the supervisor, and miraculously, he was in a "meeting" and will call me back.
THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE. DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU GET INVOLVED.
I cancelled my debit card so that they cannot charge me any more and I am faxing an "unauthorized charge" form to my bank. Wow, what a horrible business!
