I live about 2 hours away from this used car lot. I saw a car I was interested in and negotiated the price over the phone. Went and saw the car; the car had quite a few defects fo r which they were priced right.

While test driving the car; the car starting shaking a lot and started kicking the RPM and accelator without me doing anything. The sales person and owner came out looked at the car and said this car had a pipe that came out of its place. Looked like they just made up a word to save face. After a while the car stop making the shakes and started running properly. I purchased the car, since they said our car comes with an 147 point inspection (lie) and this problem is fixed.

Next day the car started doing the same thing plus the ABS and Emergency sign came up on the odometer screen. I called my sales person and told him I didnt want to stop the check but he needs to fix this issue as he said at the lot about it being resolved.

He gave me the run around for a while and said I will have you go to my mechanic in Grayslake (2 hours away) and have it taken care of. When I called to confirm my appointment with the mechanic he said your appointment is cancelled (luckily I called). I asked why he said I am too busy, then after being frustrated I asked to be rescheduled and reminded the mechanic that car connection will be taking care of this bill.

He flat out said NO; I asked him to call car connection and verify and he called back again saying NO. So I called the sales person and owner again; now they say " I was sending you to my guy so you can get a discount". I told him this is problem you said the didnt have and this is an immoral way to do business. He swore and made some rude comments and flat out denied what they agreed to do.

So in conclusion: they sell bad cars, lie about the inspection and do not stick to their word. They changed their story around and sold a car with multiple problems and issues and didnt deliver on what thye promised.
