Nov, 9 2009 took my car to Car-Ex because front wheels were steaming & too hot to touch. They checked it out & I was told it needed compleat brake job, Calipers, rotars & so on. In the last 2 weeks since I picked up the car, I drove it 16.4 miles. Got in the car 2 days ago & brakes were grinding & thumping!! Took it back this AM, 9:30 & they still didnt have it looked at by 1:00PM. When I called them again, said they looked at it & absolutly, nothing was wrong. They said I only had a bad tie rod, so I took it to my usual garage & they said, I got ripped off terrible & all it needed was brake hoses, which were really bad. They also told me after 16.4 milesthe rotars Car-ex had just put in...were all blue, from brake hose fluid. Car-ex are brake specialist & my garage said..there is no way as brake specialist, they did not see bad hoses & the rotars were all ble...no way!! My garage said it never needed new calipers to begin with...like I said when I brought it to car ex it was steaming & hot to the touch...because of brake hoses!!They charged me $541.46 for what I needed by proof...2 brake hoses!! Dont tell me brake specialist didn't see 2 bad brake hoses, when my garage saw it as soon as the wheels were taken off!! Hemy garage also said, the more I drive it, with the brake hoses leaking & getting everything hot...I WILL LOSE MY BRAKES!! DO YOUR PEOPLE HAVE NO CONSCIENCE, THIS COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT & DEATH!! The pathetic thing is when I took it back, they lied & denied all culpibility!! My garageman took pictures of the rotors being all blue(let me remind you, in 16.4 mile) & said he will testify in court over this issue. My attorney said, turn over no pictures, no anything & with a 2nd garage spotting these brake hoses in under 5 min. we have a good case!!
